although they seem like opposites, they are similar in their strong willpower and serious nature. yoshiki prioritizes logic, while asako prioritizes emotions. asako, who can hear the voices of ghosts, has a flexible personality that isn't bound by conventional thinking, but she generally acts without much thought. while asako is the one who makes quick decisions and shows courage in critical situations, this often leads to reckless behavior.
if asako were in yoshiki's position, she wouldn't have waited half a year after hikaru returned. she would have immediately gone to ask, "you're not hikaru, are you?" and would likely have ended up dead.
