Bend The Trend || Ella&Anastasia

Ella slipped out of Ilvermorny into the great Greylocks Landing! It was early as she snuck out with a giant group- so she doubted she’d cross paths with any of her Stepsisters. So she was hoping anyway. Clutching her drawstring bag with its extension charm tightly to her chest. She could feel her heart racing just from leaping into something she shouldn’t be doing but she couldn’t help it. Though the closer Ella got to Greylocks Landing the more excited she got. She’s been patiently waiting for months for this and it felt like nothing was going to stop her now that she’s gotten this far!
Once again, Ella was nervous, on the edge, as if one of her Professors would notice her at the very last minute but when she finally stepped into Greylock Landing she easily sneaked into the bigger crowds of people having nothing to worry about anymore. She wandered into the bustling Market area. { This is the perfect place } Ella thought to herself happily. Finding herself a perfect little spot as she opened her drawstring bag and pulling out a rug and laid it out on the ground, and a small painted frosty pink wooden board with the words Bend The Trend written over it as she propped it against the brick wall of the building. Was it the best name? No. But it was enough for Ella right now.
Taking out two worn out baskets filling them up with her homemade milk and honey soap&Sweet Almond honey oatmeal soap she made. She laid out a few original wire wrap Spiral Rings she made | X, X, X |. She had two pendulums one a shell | X | she found on the Beach back at home and an Amazonite Ella remade with crushed bits of amazonite she had from her mother’s mass rock collection and with a bit of chemestry&alchemy from her mother. Who taught her a couple of tricks before her passing | X |. Also having three metal wired pendants | X, X, X |. Though in the center of the rug was Ella’s main attraction. Having six quartz pieces that took 6 months to make but it was worth it.
Having 5 Quartz Towers | X | with pink roses encased inside them holding the roses natural beauty when they became crystallized. With only one triangular quartz piece she can’t quite put a name on it because it was a mixture of charoite, blue tiger eye, and amethyst powder at the bottom, some amethyst chunks she had in the middle, and added copper shavings to see what it would do to the piece until the quartz formed into the triangular mold she had it in | X |. Everything around Ella in the Greylocks Landing Market was magical. Though nothing Ella had in front of her was magical. All of it was just either junk&clutter she already had and just fixed it up into something that might sell. Or stuff she went dumpster diving around Campus and found something interesting to use. Using what her mother taught her and left behind, and her father’s handy Merchant trade.
This year her goal was to go to the Solstice Dance by making her own money. To be able to buy her own dress! She only had one shot, and this was it. She realized during the beginning of Summer Break she was going to have to spend any spare time she had on learning how to wire wrap without magic because she couldn’t do the conjurings right. So she worked hard and Ella was more than surprised because she was actually making money. So far $25.00 may have seemed very little to a lot of people but to Ella it felt good for someone who isn’t given anything. Handing a woman three bars of soap she just bought as she waved the woman goodbye.
Putting away the money she just made while Ella was busying herself jotting down something in her notebook. She noticed a shadow cast over her knowing someone was taking an interest in her inventory. “Hi! Do you see anything you like?” Looking up only to feel an alarming sensation run up and down her spine. Her heart rate picked up immediately. Her hands involuntarily trembled making her clench them tightly. { Damn. } She thought to herself almost scared.
School. The worst and best thing that could ever happen to a teenager - except the school was in Oahu, then that was all blown out of proportion. Being Andrew Montellano, it wasn't that easy. See, he was popular, had good looks, hair, got the girls to fall for him, got the guys to be jealous of him - even though he'd fuck them later, nothing could compare to having a roommate - not that he needed one, he was only 19 and in college. I know what you're gonna say; but no. He did not fail high school. He had a lot of kids to do his homework but, one unfortunate day, he got caught; hence having him do all of his work on his own. Now in college, Andrew hopes to actually get credit for his work and not let anyone do it for him. As he arrived, he got everything for his room - oh, the room by the beach, in case anyone was wondering. Yes, he was picky, which caused an uproar, but he didn't care. He was Andrew fucking Montellano and he didn't give a flying fuck about anyone except for himself. Using the key to open the room door, he sighed in relief, entering the room - which was numbered 326 - and called dibs on one side of the room, knowing that his roommate would come along sooner or later. His major was music - well, technically, it was music theory, but it was basically the same thing. He had his clothes in the closet and he was laying on the bed with fresh, crisp sheets on the bottom, playing on his cellular phone as he was waiting for his roommate, so he could give him a proper hello and or goodbye; seeing how his attitude was.
