She’s finally here and she’s most certainly queer!
Iiiiiiiiiiiiit’s Ardi! (aka i spent way to long on @sangled‘s picrew, which you can find here)
Alright! So most of y’all have already seen Flaffel’s face, but this is how I picture Ardi herself to look! She doesn’t deviate to far from me identity wise (she/her or they/them, autistic and bi babyyyyy), but she actually has overalls that fit her! She’s definetly not quite human either (insert god I wish that was me meme here), from the changeling myths! A quick rundown, because apparently y’all get to meet her right now (would you believe me if i said i had planned just to post the title and picture?). She loves rocks, animals, rivers. She lives by one--a small cozy little cabin in the woods up north (I picture Alaska or northern Canada), and she’s far enough away from civilization that she often looks up at the stars and tries to match her freckles to constillations!!! She’s got all of her music downloaded, and a solar panel roof, and while she hikes she listens to her music. And that makes it sound like she’s cottagecore! Nope, she is definetly my gremlin baby. All of the flat surfaces have rocks and sticks and containers of various plants on them, there’s a conspicous clear spot where she eats/generally cooks. Not to say that it’s chaos to her, that is. Everything is meticilously orginized, and she’s got various lists of all of the shinies that are *supposed* to be there. Every week, she goes through to make sure she hasn’t misplaced any of them. Her really special ones (the one’s that mark momentous occasions, generally. Ex: her first shiny (a metal key), the shiny she got when she realized she may in fact be a gremlin (her 32nd smooth pebble), the first shiny she got when she moved to her cottage (a small airtight jar full of leaves), etc). She’s got two dogs living with her, a beauceron-husky mix named Xyla and an Akita mutt named Willa (both girls). They get along famousley, and Willa is the alpha, after Ardi herself of course.
In terms of human contact, there is a couple and a single up river, and two singles down river (I promise i’ll give them names eventually, if you have any ideas feel free to send them in an ask/msg!!!). They get together every two weeks at the library in town and exchange stories!
