What's she gonna be doing on the ship? :o
With what I’m leaning toward right now, she’d be acting as caretaker for some of the ship’s systems. While space in their universe isn’t a vacuum and normally quite breathable, there are times when they need to close down the ships against magical storms or the like. So most ships have areas, sometimes entire decks, that house plant life to keep a clean air supply. These plants are also part of ship systems so keeping them healthy is important to overall ship function, even when things aren’t closed down.
I know these two names are very different but
