I'm going to be really busy this summer, and I really need to focus on writing my novel so I'm trying to prioritize my duties. Is it okay if I take the hiatus break after all? I'm so sorry for springing this on you.

Of course you can take the Summer Hiatus.  Don't be sorry- we offered as much.  Remember that September 3rd is when we're going to start contacting those players that are on hiatus, and don't forget that if you do want to come talk in the OOC that you're able to do that.
