I have been told they mimic the color of fire.” Hair Style/Color: “I like to wear my hair long. However, if I am sewing then I place it into a bun. A rather messy bun. I was never good with hair decorations.” Height: “Goodness. I believe five fulms and two ilms? I am quite short.” Clothing Style: “I am a seamstress! Owning simple and fancy garments is a must. My uncle, Shiohi, is a simple man but I have persuaded him to wear finer things every once in a while. I am blessed he is a man of patience considering I find something new almost every other sennight.”

LAYER ONE: THE OUTSIDE

Name: “Fearless Willow. That’s...not what I was born as, cause, y’know, Sea Wolf, but I go by the translation of my first name. I....have reasons for it.”

Eye Color: “They’re teal green..”

Hair Style/Color: “Ever since I was little, my mom dyed my hair the same color as my eyes and made me wear it long and braided. When I left, I shaved half of it into an undercut just....well I knew it would make her mad. I had it like that for a long time and I was proud of it, but one day...I was getting it trimmed up when Jandelaine asked if he could try a new look for me. I trust him, so I said yeah. When he was done, my hair was jet black with the teal only in highlights, and it was grown out but only down to my shoulders. He’d also found a really good makeup and put this black stripe across my eyes. It was...so different, but I really loved it. I’ve kept it ever since.”

Height: “7 fulms, three ilms. I tower above most people.”

Clothing Style: “I’m used to being covered up. My parents insisted it was ‘proper’ and “ladylike’. They’d probably be horrified to see me in adventuring gear, much less my Thavnairian dancer’s outfit. Style....well, let’s just say nowadays I’m a fair deal more confident in showing off...well, me”

Your Fears: “Everything I’ve built for myself being taken away, mostly by...my parents. I know, realistically, there’s nothing they can do to me. No mercenaries they can hire are going to be strong enough to subdue me, much less when I have my fellow Warriors of Light or the Scions or any of the other allies we’ve made along the way at my back. But I still have nightmares occasionally that they are taking me back and I’m powerless to stop them forcing me into my old life”

Your Guilty Pleasure: “I’ve learned from my fellow Warriors not to feel guilty for taking time for myself. I used to feel guilty anytime I wasn’t trying to fight the Empire or the Ascians or trying to save someone, but I’ve learned I have to take time or else the fight will consume me. But recently, thanks to Ranaa, I’ve developed a fondness for a prank against my father. I recognize any of his company vessels, so when they come in to port in Kugane or LImsa, I’ll sneak aboard and leave little notes hidden where I know his people will find them. Usually it’s cryptic nonsense but sometimes I’ll ask about a relative. I never sign them. I wonder if he knows its me. It makes me giggle so much.”

Your Biggest Pet Peeve: “I think I have to echo what Rheika was saying. People who think that others have no inherent value. Probably because we’ve had to fight a lot of bad people. ”

Your Ambition for the Future: “I haven’t really thought about what I want to do when the world doesn’t need saving, if it ever gets to that. But as long as I have my loves nearby, it’ll be amazing no matter what it is.”

Your First Thoughts Waking Up: “I normally wake up in the arms of at least one of the women I love, so they usually go along the lines of ‘Twelve, I’m so lucky’. Okay I know that sounds sappy but it’s true, so shhh!”

Been on Stage: “Well, yes, of course. I mean, I’ve performed the Kriegstanz many a time on stage.”

Done Drugs: “I....I’ve taken Somnus, a few times. Diluted versions. When I arrived in Limsa, my anxiety was....bad. Tried a few legal sleeping potions, but none of them worked on me. Wyrnzoen, bless him, got his hands on some somnus, diluted it, and gave me that to try. It worked. He only let me have it two or three times before he cut me off, but by that point my anxiety had worn off as Limsa started to feel more like home and I got comfortable with my new life. Don’t...don’t think bad of him, please. He showed me, just another marauder student, a lot of kindness that day”

Changed Who You Were to Fit In: “I kind of had to do this all my life...before I cam to Eorzea. Even then I still did it a lot, affecting the manner of a rough and tumble pirate until my fellow Warriors of Light realized what I was doing, and convinced me to be myself.”

Favorite Color: “I’ll always be fond of teal, I think. Lately though I’ve been enjoying the new additions of black in my wardrobe..”

Favorite Animal: “I don’t remember what they were called but there were these really big aquatic mammals that were very friendly and playful. Father hated them because they would steal from his fishing boats, but I loved them. They never took THAT much and they were always playful.”

Favorite Food: “Nothing beats some freshly prepared catch at the Bismarck. I’m so glad I have an ‘in’ there what with Franks’ connections.”

Favorite Game: "Franks found this strange board game in the Crystarium where all the players have to work together to overcome a series of challenges. I enjoyed that. I’m not a super competitive person so all of us working together for something is more fun for me. Or a game that’s entirely luck based.”

Eye Color: “They’re this really pretty green. I inherited it from my mom.”

Hair Style/Color: “I don’t really style it much, it just kinda ends up like this! A little messy, sometimes its in my eyes, sure, but most people seem to think it’s cute. And before you say anything, I don’t care WHAT Dahkar might have said to you. This purple is NATURAL, don’t you dare suggest otherwise.”

Height: “5 fulms, three ilms. On the taller end for a Miqo’te, so I don’t wanna hear your short jokes!”

Clothing Style: “Honestly, if I think I look hot in it, I’ll wear it. Doesn’t matter if it’s showing a lot of skin or very little, I can find the appeal of a lot of things.”

Best Physical Feature: “What, are you expecting me to say my tits or something? I like all of me. My coloration’s unusual for Keepers, my eyes are striking, I’m in darn good shape, I like me!”

Your Fears: “There’s...a lot riding on me...well not just me, but us, the Warriors of Light. Of which...I am, if you didn’t know that. I’m always afraid of what’ll happen to everyone I care about if we fail. When Zenos beat us at the Reach, damn near killed a lot of us, that was the first time that fear almost took me over. Then when G’raha brought me over to the First without the others, all alone, I almost went back to that place.”

Your Guilty Pleasure: “Guilty? If you think for one second I’m feelin’ guilty about anything I take pleasure in, you’re talking to the wrong lady.”

Your Biggest Pet Peeve: “Lack of Empathy, I guess. Choosing not to recognize that everyone around you is a person as complicated and valuable as you think you are.”

Your Ambition for the Future: “Well, we gotta save the world, or worlds I guess, right? After that I hope we don’t go our separate ways. Maybe we won’t be as active in a time of peace or anything, but I hope we still stay a family. But maybe people will settle down. Me, though? I’m always gonna be traveling. New things to see, problems to solve, people to meet (and potentially fuck), I can’t imagine any future where I’m not doing that”

What You Think About the Most: “Honestly I kinda try to live in the moment a lot. I want to be present and experiencing what’s happening now. But sometimes I find myself thinking and planning for the future, especially since I became the sort-of-leader of the Warriors of Light. I gotta think about what’s next, for the others if nothing else. It’s a hard thing to change.”

What You Think About Before Bed: “Hahah, see the waking up question, first thing. But if I’m goin to bed alone, it varies. Can’t say it’s ever one particular thing.”

You Think Your Best Quality Is: “I think that most people, deep down, are good people who aren’t selfish but want to care about others. I did say “most”, some are just irredeemable. Most people have just had a lot of that empathy beaten out of them by the hard hand life has dealt em. I don’t want to ever lose faith in that idea, or the drive to help em get back to there.”

Favorite Game: "I like simple card or dice games. I suck at all those weird complicated strategy games Franks finds, but it’s fun to watch him get excited about them..”

Character Layers: Oldman Franks

LAYER ONE: THE OUTSIDE

Name: “Old Man Franks. Or just Franks if you want. The actual first name’s Aleister, but….ain’t no one but the departed wife called me that in a long time. I’d appreciate it if you didn’t. Still hurts a little to think about her”

Eye Color: “They’re a kinda blue. Always heard the shade was called ‘Steel blue; though I can’t claim to understand why”

Hair Style/Color: “Yeah, my hair’s been white for quite some time...as for the style, well...never put much stock in what it looked like. Sometimes I’d take a brush to it if the...well sometimes I’d brush it if the occasion called for it. Jandelaine showed me this style, though. I try to maintain it, cause the guy did a lot of work for it..”

Height: “6 and a half fulms tall. I’m told that’s on the upper end for Highlander men by people who care about that sorta thing”

Clothing Style: “I had a bad few years where...well, let’s just say I wasn’t able to to put much effort into looking all that great. But I got a second chance, so I put a good amount of work into looking the best I can. Bein able to make my own clothes, puttin stuff that’s both functional and stylish, certainly helps with that”

Best Physical Feature: “I...look remember when I said I had a bad few years? Let’s just say my body kinda went to hell at that point. I don’t wanna say much more’n that. LIke I said...second chance. I’m real happy with what I’ve got now. So...all of it, I guess. Have to ask someone else if you wanna get more specific”

I have friends, real friends, a home, and the opportunity to do more than destroy and ruin everything around me.”

You Think Your Best Quality Is: “I spent a lot of my life as a farmer. It’s hard work, but it’s mostly physical. Never really studied much in the way o’ higher learning, shall we say. He had this really big cat. Beautiful creature, but it was mean. Territorial. Hated all of us except for him...and weirdly, me. Don’t know why, but that thing would be downright affectionate with me sometimes. Dunno why, but I’ve had soft spot for big cats since then..”

Favorite Food: “Don’t ask me how this happened, but during my bad years I lost my sense of taste. I just ate whatever for nourishment. Now that I’ve...gotten past that, every new thing I try just tastes amazing. So yeah, don’t really have favorites nailed down yet. Everything tastes too good to choose. Even spicy stuff. It’ll probably be seafood in the end. Damn good to be in Limsa a lot of the time”

Favorite Game: “I like card games. Or really intense board games where there’s a lotta strategy involved.”

Name: Ritsu Knoltros Eye Color: Eerie pale blue eyes, almost silver looking.  Hair Style/Color: Brunette, varies in style.  Height: 6′5 Clothing Style: Varies, often can be seen in tunics, leggings and boots while she is out hunting. In the office she tends to wear dresses. 

LAYER TWO: THE INSIDE

Your Fears: "Fears? What if I was to say I fear nothing? Would you believe me?” she isn’t the sort to own up to her own fears easily, she does worry about her husband, family and those at the lodge. 

Your Guilty Pleasure: “Bubble baths are quite lovely. Every now and then Flynt runs one for me, at times joins.” 

Your Biggest Pet Peeve: “Pet peeve..those that can not follow orders.” Ritsu is no tyrant, but she does like orders to be carried out. If someone breaks orders and all is well, she isn’t peeved. HOWEVER, if someone breaks orders and makes things so much worst. Yeah, she gets pretty annoyed. 

Your Ambition for the Future: “Retirement.” As years pass, Ritsu wants nothing more than to focus on her children and husband, leaving the lodge in more capable hands.
