Part III
A “host” to the entity Static is less a vessel for it to inhabit, and moreso a face claim it uses to commit a number of unlisted atrocities. It cannot, however, completely mimic a human appearance or mannerisms. Discernible visual differences include television-static-filled eyes and a blue colouring on the face and hands that can get darker or lighter depending on mood.
Part One
Original, the entity manifests itself as a vaguely human shape, appearing in the static of an old, broken television set. It shows itself to a potential host once a night, making them go slowly mad. If the television set is discarded or destroyed before the process is done, it transfers through electricity lines to find a new target.
Part 2
The entity Static often has no particular traits it looks for in victims hosts outside of the general rule of owning a broken television to inhabit it. However, many of the surviving victims have stated a prior existing history of battling anxiety, trouble with anger-management, or that they lacked a proper support system at the time of the entity disrupting their daily life.
Which OC of mine do you want more lore of?
Arthur (Half-Enderman archer minecraft oc)
Static (tv demon, has killed, will kill again, mostly an annoying lil shit)
Pixel (camera eye guy, anxious, wants to be friends)
??? (pronounced as if you're mumbling "idk"--kind of gave up on this guy so 👀)
P and Puppets not included mostly because they're just kind of around this blog a lot anyway, also these are all self-inserts because I'm like that (I struggle to make normal oc's)
Holy shit I haven’t gone, finger on iPad, for a drawing this “complex” in about four years, y’all better appreciate the winner you created because he’s going to become a living nightmare <3
Fuck it, here's some of P meeting my other self-insert OCs (otherwise known as his ALTRs)
Puppet--a plush doll with button eyes and hearing aids:
Initially, P is unnerved. It's very small (7 inches) and likes to climb things and sit on people's laps, playing with their clothes or fingers. It doesn't talk or sign so it kind of just sits on P's legs, both of them staring at the other curiously. Eventually, they warm up and P starts carrying the little guy around in his pocket or on his shoulder. Puppet notices the eye that way but becomes very fond of it and does silly things behind P's back before realising P and the eye are in communication (because obviously).
Arthur--half enderman, half human, all trauma:
This guy's height is also a determining factor in P's initial reaction, at a staggering 7 feet, and is the thing P focuses on before even registering the half-and-half kind of look. When he finally does, the purple colouring of one side of his body is alarming but not all that scary. It's obvious Arthur hasn't known many humans in his life, though, so P works to make him comfortable and they sort of trauma bond over not really having anyone growing up.
Static--television demon murder boy, claims P's face using his monitors:
Very fucking wary. Definitely keeps a weapon on hand just in case. Static doesn't particularly talk to him, either, but the general vibe and demeanour it lets off are enough to put P incredibly on edge. P would not hesitate to kill him if only he could figure out what it was, to begin with. For the time being, containment it is; it's a good thing P works where he does.
Fou̵r
If the entity Static is found to have been successful in courting a host, it is recommended to avoid any and all possible contact. Do not engage with the entity. Do not touch the entity. As posed, many prior hosts of the entity Static have not survived their encounters. This is not due to their own negligence as they did not understand the danger they were in, but it is sadly a common outcome. You have been warned. It is not a battle to win.
