Okay but uh, what are the other characters in Crack's AU like? owo
I said quite a bit about Gaster, Papy (either way Im making a reference sheet for both of them in the near future), and Alphys so Ima skip them for now:
I'll get into details in a sec but most of them were devastated when Alphys told them that Sans "died" but they almost immediately turned their backs on him when he killed Alphys and Papyrus (since he refuses to talk to any of them and keeps himself locked up in his house)
The rest of it is pretty long so it'll be under the cut:
Undyne: A year or two before the whole escaping the lab thing went down she actually stepped down from her position as the leader of the Royal Guard to give it to Papyrus. During that time she was pretty much the same and maybe a little bit more "extra" so she can keep Papy's spirits up. After the escape took place she pretty much made it her life's mission to make Crack pay. She was the leader of the group of monsters that went to Crack's house to kill him. Of course that failed and Undyne walked away from that with a messed up arm (Crack blasted it because she was trying to summon a spear) and a couple more friends dead. That happening really messed her up emotionally and she defintaly dropped her "punk" and "overconfident" attitude and got more serious and overall less happy. She never does go back to being the Captain of the Royal Guard and ends up starting her own little group that's more or less an anti-Crack squad. They end up attacking Crack about 4 more times before he leaves the au for good (aka he finishes the machine that lets him do that)
Mettaton: Because Alphys never let Mettaton go into the secret lab, he truly believes that Crack killed Alphys for literally no reason. The last they heard of Crack was that Alphys tried to save his life and failed. So Mettaton truely thinks that Crack is some sort of vengeful spirit/demon (not in a religious way) that came back into the world to kill ~everyone who wronged him~ and that he’s using his old house as like a base of operations. He was one of the first people to join Undyne’s group and is pretty much her right-hand man. Mettaton totally dropped the whole “wanting to be a preformer” thing and he is *WAY* less overdramatic.
Asgore: He’s... not doing well,,, First he lost his two kids (Chara and Asriel), His wife left him, He ordered the entire underground to kill any human that falls and now has the weight of 6 child souls on his back, he “loses” his royal judge (Sans), the person he’s been training since she was little pretty much just left the royal guard, and THEN his royal scientist and the new royal guard captain just got killed by the person he thought was dead... (That was such a long sentence-) So yeah, he’s mostly become a recluse and spends all his time taking care of his garden and trying to pretend that his life isn’t crumbling around him.
Toriel: After Alphys first kidnapped Crack she just thought that the funny stranger that kept coming just got bored of her... Sure, it’s a bit of a bummer but she doesn’t have time to deal with that! She needs to be prepared if another child falls! She more or less drowns herself in making the Ruins as safe and welcoming as possible. At one point or another she just has nothing left to do... So she starts befriending the local monsters! Soon she knows all of them by name and has more friends than ever! All in all, whatever human that falls into the underground is in for a fun and welcoming time! ^u^ (Maybe this time the human wouldn’t want to leave...)
Flowey: He’s very, very confused... No other timeline has been like this one... When Papyrus first told him that Sans went missing he just thought that the comedian was just playing a prank on his brother or something. But after Alphys said that he was dead... He got suspicious... He would *know* if Sans died. Heck, Flowey also hangs out in waterfall which is ~supposedly~ where Sans died... So he follows Alphys back to the lab- Stuff just isn't lining up... Then he finds him. He sees Sans in Alphys lab and he sees what Alphys is doing to him. But he doesn’t try to fix. Sure, he tell Papyrus that he should join the guard to make sure this “doesn’t happen to anyone else” but he doesn’t tell anyone what he saw. In general, he acts a bit more openly self-aware because he *knows* that something is wrong with this timeline. Other than that he is just the same old Flowey that we know and love UuU
