what do you think luke’s (riordan) personality is like in private? especially with r,, it makes me soo sad that we didn’t get to see more of him 😭
i think he's a generic early 20s guy honestly. very chill, very laid back, just silly enough. of course he has his not as good days, when he is becoming aware of something and he refuses to burden you with whatever he's going through. but for the most part, he's a regular guy you would encounter in college.
i don't think it's any different with you. i think he obviously has the capacity for sickly sweet romcom lovey dovey-ness, but he saves the extremes of that for date night. i think he's very cuddly, always has a hand on your lower back or stuffed in your pocket. he loves holding the hand that's not right by him, the one on the other side, so that he has an excuse to slink an arm around your back and hold your hand. he's addicted to cuddling, especially when you're watching whatever shitty, pirated movie you're tuning in for the night on his computer.
i think he has a natural ability to be a leader and take care of you. it's small things, like ordering food for you both and making sure he's using his card. reading whatever last minute essay you have to submit with his chin hooked over your shoulder, his hands rubbing up and down your arms, assuring you that no, it isn't complete and utter shit.
he'll offer you his pillow but you know he doesn't want to give it up. he's a blanket hog, but by the middle of the night he's running insanely hot and the blanket ends up on the floor, out of your reach. his touchiness often ends up with you needing him, even when you're just on the precipice of sleep, and he tries apologizing but you can't take his apology seriously when he's smiling through it.
