Oas has this really funny thing going on where ever since she did her whole "turned into a zombie and came back wrong as a sapient magical fungus" thing she has lost the need for person things like "resting" and has thus not slept in approximately 30 years . but also Deatais (great great grandpa) (also a god) primarily speaks to people by talking to them in dreams while they're sleeping which Oas Never Does so he can't Yell at Her to Stop Being Evil like he really wants to

however there is ONE time when Oas falls asleep and it is when she has infected Olen and is pretending to be him so she can kill Dallin . she lays down and pretends to sleep so as to not be suspicious and then just accidentally falls asleep for real

Deatais Does In Fact Take The Opportunity To Yell At Her . This Somehow Does Nothing to Deter Her From Trying To Kill Dallin

also not full redesigns yet because i haven't done the outfits . but i have decided to make olen more antful and give dallin weird spider legs and i likies it quite a lot . i have no idea how i am going to do clothing for this but it's okay ,

That one plot point where Olen and Dallin swap outfits/masks for a while so Dallin can sneak out to do Olen's job of gathering food is obviously a remnant from when they were of similar appearance and body types and has become INCREASINGLY ridiculous as their designs have changed

however i refuse to remove it . partially because it's really fucking funny . but also because a pretty big point of it is that it doesn't even matter because nobody ever interacts closely enough with Dallin that they'd notice . when it works and Dallin comes back a few days later she asks Olen how it went pretending to be her and he answers "nobody approached or spoke to me the entire time?" and Dallin just shrugs and goes "sounds like it went well then" and then things go back to normal like she didn't just leave her brother with the revelation that she is extremely lonely at all times
