Sup guys? How’s it going?
So recently I’ve been doing a little project with one of my really good friends. We’re both artists and we had hit some art block so we came up with a little ‘Game’ or so call it. We call it the Character-Quote Challenge!
Basically how this works is that you go on the internet and find a quote you like. Using the quote you picked, draw a character of either your design or a show/movie/game character that you think would fit that quote. Its fairly simple and a great way to not only fight art block, but it helps create original characters and worlds!
So far, we’ve created four characters for our own story. Designing two each, we don’t exactly have the entire story planned out but we have their personalities and things like that. I’ll start with my friends first!
This is Chris!
He’s 17, the youngest of the 4, and is very sweet! He’s a competitive gymnast and male cheerleader at his high school. He is fairly shy and soft spoken, but will run your ears off when he gets to know you. He believes that everyone is a good person until proven wrong, but he wil NOT tolerate people messing with his friends. Everyone thinks he wouldn’t hurt a fly, but what most don’t know, is that Chris has one hell-of-a right hook! This is the quote he was based off of:
Next, meet Don!
Don is 19, the one of two twins who are the oldest, and has the sass of an absolute god. Let me tell you, Don speaks fluent sarcasm and is not ashamed of anything he does. He is very popular at his school and has lots of ‘friends’(or rather people he hangs out with when his best friends aren’t available) He was a former gymnast and loves parkour. He is personally impartial to everyone he meets, but really only gives a shit about friends. Get on his bad side by messing with his friends, or worse, his brother, and he will make sure you either never see the light of day again or life will become a living hell both physically and socially. He is the KING of food.
We had originally made this character together, hence the two names, but we decided to just name him Don. I give her ownership of this character mainly because she put more work into it than I did. 😅
Now onto my Characters!
Meet Koa! The third of the 4 friends.
Koa is 19, the second of the twins who are the oldest, and is the complete opposite of his brother. He has both heterochromia and Poliosis (which is a condition that decreases the amount of color in hair, turning it white, or more silver in his case). He hates his ‘conditions’ and wears a hoodie and mask at all times to hide as much of his face as possible. He was made fun of when he was younger; people called him a freak of nature and told him that he looked like that because he was some kind of science experiment and not human. He doesn’t like people because he thinks the will judge him and tries to be as antisocial as possible. Mess with his friends, and he’ll tell you off like no-ones business; mess with his brother, and he’ll end your life. Here is his quote:

Meet Ronan!
Ronan is 18, the third oldest of the 4, and he is easily the most calm of the four. He is a martial artist and takes it very seriously. Although most people are intimidated, his friends know that in reality, he’s actually very polite and loyal. He is very smart and has the best grades of the 4, but for all the intellect in the world, he’s the most dense person you’ll ever meet. A girl could be proclaiming their eternal love to him and after their done he would look around, point at himself, and ask “were you talking to me?” He loves nature and walks through the forest. His parents are rather strict, so that along with roof-jumping are great stress relievers for him. This is his quote:
