Garnet addressed a girl that stood next to her in the city, completely out of the blue. She held up her hands, showing off the leather gauntlets she had received from the scientists.

“Where can I get something better than this.”

★— “Why I’m sorry there ma’am, I was wonderin’ if you had seen a tall man around this area - blond hair, short orange and black hoodie? He’s been spotted around a jewellery store nearby and is a suspect in a small robbery that I’m investigatin’.”

     So, between him and Sice, he finds that maybe they’re not the only ones here faster than he thought he would. He’s not sure if that’s a good thing or not at first, but it means they’re all alive... right? And, surely, even if it’s being alive in this place, that’s better than being dead, huh? Well, he hopes so, and in case his piecing together is wrong, he decides to get a second opinion-- Cater’s, to be exact.

     ❝ Caaaaater! ❞ He calls out to her from behind, waving a hand. ❝ Isn’t this great? We’re alive! ❞
