Can we finally retire this tired take that “Connor doesn’t have charisma”? He absolutely does. The problem is that audiences keep measuring him against a very narrow, Eurocentric idea of charisma: one that always defaults to cocky rogues, witty banter, and action hero-style suave.
And because Connor doesn’t perform charm in that way, people dismiss him as “bland.” But charisma isn’t just about being a smooth talker. Connor’s charisma is quieter, more grounded. When he speaks, people listen because he actually means it. His sincerity draws people in because he’s not putting on an act or trying to manipulate anyone. And the respect he commands doesn’t come from bravado -- it comes from the steadiness and conviction with which he carries himself.
That’s also charisma. Just not the kind most gamers have been trained to recognize. And honestly, the fact that so many write him off says less about Connor as a character and more about how narrow our collective lens for “charisma” has been.
Connor doesn’t lack charisma -- society just lacks the range to see it.
I hate when ppl say "luckily sociopaths and narcissists are easy to spot" because they really don't know what they're talking abt. Yes, "low functioning" sociopaths and narcissists are easy to spot.
I'm a high functioning sociopath and narcissist and nobody I know irl would ever suspect it (unless they're one of the few that I've already told). Most people I know trust me wholeheartedly and spill their crazy secrets and memories to me without a second thought. They think I'm caring and empathetic.
This is because people with high functioning ASPD/NPD are oozing with charisma and are usually social butterflies (at least from my experience). A lot of these people think they're totally easy to spot yet don't realize that they're walking all around them. They wouldn't notice a thing.
THIS
Especially when they realize it’s in you and not on you then all of a sudden fun’s over 💀
It’s also funny too when they realize that it’s not a contagion that is airborne by proximity lol some people really hang out with people of a certain look and charisma just for benefits
Not a smart idea
"All right, this is the Watch! Bucket chain!" he shouted.
"Aw, must we?" said someone in the crowd.
"Yes, you must," said Captain Carrot. "Come on, everyone, if we form two lines we'll have this done in no time at all! What d'you say, eh? It might even be fun!"
And they did it, Vimes noted. Carrot treated everyone as if they were jolly good chaps and somehow, in some inexplicable way, they couldn't resist the urge not to prove him wrong.

celebrity energy⋆.ೃ࿔*:・💅🏽
so i got an ask about this a while ago and i wanted to make a post about it but i went on hiatus 😭 so im making the post now. thank you to the anonie who asked the question that inspired this post and i hope you see this cuz it answers ur ask...💬🎀
THE TRIPLE C'S ;
while making the notes for celebrity energy (the big C) and i was able to umbrella it to three main points. those points being confidence, cuntiness, and charisma.
confidence ; celebrities need to have undeniable confidence in themselves and their abilities. they're famous for a reason and they know that. work on ur self concept and watch ur confidence sky rocket.
I don't even watch this man's pov (I will hopefully) but I had to give him the gun he deserved.
Do you guys have any idea on how to make diverse head shapes and structures? I feel like they all look the same... especially since I don't color in my drawings most of the time.
