Rewatching Final Fantasy 7: Advent Children as an adult (I first saw it as a little girl) I've grown to be so much more enthralled and moved by the story and wowed by the graphics and animation. We did all kinds of great things with animation back then!! This must've been so tough to do but it's well worth it 'cause it's a fan-fucking-tastic movie!

Above all, I'm more surprised at how much I empathize and like Cloud Strife more now. I used to hate that guy, but now my heart has grown soft for the guy. I relate to his struggle to let people in, to go to my friends for help, to know I'm not alone and to forgive myself for the things I "failed" to do.

All in all, what a movie!
