Name: Kenneth J Pennington | Nicknames: Ken, Kenny, Penny, Pen | Age: 37 | Species/Race: Human | Gender: Male | Height: 6'0 | Occupation: Soldier | Eye Color: Green | Hair Color: Light Brown | Appearance: He wears armor most of the time considering his job is to guard the king, his normal clothing isn't really all that fancy actually, its raggedy and gross looking but the king won't pay him as much as his brother, the king won't even let him lay down on a proper bed because of his "filthyness", he also has an eyepatch over his eye, he doesn't like it when people see his scar. | Personality: He's not exactly the most friendly of soldiers, he's cold, has a short temper and goes off easily, he knows the king hates him and honestly? He hates the king tenfold but, god forbid he tried to do anything to the man, they'd all have his head on a silver platter and the king DOES pay him, not much, but its at least enough to put some food on the table. He doesn't talk to any of the other soldiers, guards, etc- he ESPECIALLY tries to avoid his brother at all costs, his brother is like the king's little lap dog, gets whatever his little greedy heart desires, and the king loves his older brother almost like a son (basically he's not talkative, he's cold, hot-headed, hates both the king and his older brother and honestly? He just- isn't a very cheery fellow in general) | Side Facts: He likes to go out and drink when he's not on duty, he can down two whole bottles of whiskey if you'd let him, after all the shit he puts up with, he DEFINITELY needs a drink or something, anything to forget about those two nuisances for awhile, he goes down to a pub after he gets a break or on his way home, the alcohol also helps him deal with his brother when he finally gets home, all his brother does is yell at him, or annoy him or w o r s e... Point out all his flaws, everything he's done wrong, etc. He's punched his brother plenty of times before, he always gets scolded by the king for it however, for punching that poor man in the face! He's lucky he hasn't gotten fired or worse by the king for assaulting one of his "best men" which is bullshit to him, Kenneth does more than his no good brother does, he takes care of the king's every whim and protects him from the danger the most, Charles merely sits around and when things get scary he runs like the coward he is, if Kenneth could, he'd just let his brother die right then and there. A King is nothing without subjects to rule over, he loves the king and stays on his good side 24/7, him and the King have "similar" personalities and interests, so they get along amazingly well, even for them to have no blood ties, he gets to stick around the king most of the time, even in the royal bedroom, he's got his own bed in that room now! The King has grown that close to him, he just can't understand why his brother doesn't try harder to get along with the king, to him, his brother is a stupid money-less idiot who can't do anything right! He can't even make the King happy! If he even t r i e d, he could definitely make some money ....But of course, its painfully obvious Charles wants to see his brother fail. (he's a greedy, snobby, stuck up piece of shit) | Side Facts: Him and his brother has always hated each other, he's always wanted to see or make his brother fail himself if he has too, his brother was always pathetic to him, he gave money to the poor disgusting rats that plagued the streets! They didn't deserve that money, after all, he coulda bought so many fancy suits and canes with that money! His brother has always took too much pity on the street rats and he d e s p i s e s that, he also despises the fact his brother drinks as much as he does, at this point, he just despises his brother in general. But, the feeling between the both of them is DEFINITELY mutual at this point, Charles knows.... If Kenneth could, he'd kill him the first chance he got more than likely, that... doesn't bother him however, he knows the King would protect him! Keep him safe from everything! Nobody can touch him, not while The King is around!
