Do you like William Basinski's Disintegration Loops? That seems to be my soundtrack tonight
I am a huge fan, and I actually hadn’t listened to any of them in well over a year. Thanks for reminding me, I’ve been on a bit of an ambient music bender lately so the timing is good.
Perhaps a nice set of grills will help. You'll be in pain longer, but you'll still be the coolest guy
the plan is to release this upcoming album once we have the time and then get rich. then I can buy a aquamarine-studded platinum grill and become immortal
Have you ever heard the song "Forget" by Oupa? It's an odd song that has been stuck in the back of my head, mostly because of its atmosphere. It's memorable to me, although I'm not sure how it would hold up to others
No but I am listening to it now and it’s pretty neato with the layered, reverb-heavy vocals. There’s actually some vocals on the new album that are kinda like that, lots of falsetto and Tori singing over other vocal parts.
But yeah I enjoyed that track and now another one that also sounds cool has started automatically playing :)
I never needed to see Deadpool Gir.
sometimes u gotta expose yourself to the ugliness of the world
Ily <3
why thank you ily2
I'm sorry if this is too personal or has been answered before, but what's the story behind the Sorry album cover?
I actually don't think anyone has asked me that. It's actually a picture of my grandfather and I when I was a child. I suppose I felt my childhood was a bit of a turning point for generations of the family; in the following two decades, most of my family would be ruined by various combinations of amphetamines, opiates, alcohol, and abuse. I guess I felt partially responsible or like I owed more to my family than to become a broke (and at the time, alcoholic) musician just like my uncle and my grandfather.
