Artist statement: "For me drawing and writing have always been really straight forward and raw—the most direct way to my ideas. Art is meaningless, pointless to me, at least in terms of our systematically structured government, and that is why its useful and great (I know, kind of a contradiction haha). It reminds us that not all has to be so complicated and at some point down the line it won't matter. I think the child-like mentality, exploration, curiosity, experimentation (also embraced by the scientific method) is really important. I guess it’s just fun."
