No place feels more like home then when I'm in your arms where I belong.
Charlie has always had feelings for Chris. She just never realized how deep they were until recently. Until she realized that he was where she felt the safest. That he was where she felt at home. That her heart had always been his even when she never knew it. That she had always loved Christopher Campbell.

Charlie hadn't talked to Chris all day and was worried. That was why she made her way over to his place. She had been staying there a lot lately so he had given her her own key. Though she still normally announced herself when she came in. Not wanting to make it awkward by catching him walking around in his boxers. Even if she had slept in his clothes so many times. "Chris?" She said softly as she looked around for him. He was in his bedroom, laying in bed as she flopped down next to him. "What's up? I've been texting you all morning."
Charlie: i was thinking about you today
Charlie: i've been doing that a lot lately

Charlie: miss you
Charlie: stop hiding from me
This wasn't how it was suppose to go. It was suppose to be a happy night. She was suppose to celebrating a year with her boyfriend. Instead it had all gone wrong. She been so excited that she had come back to her place early to get ready. He had been staying the night and she had left him watching TV. When she had first heard the sounds in the hall she had thought they were just coming from her brother's apartment and the hallway was playing weird with the acoustics.
How wring she had been...the sight she saw were she opened the day set her off. There was screaming and yelling. The girl he'd been fucking on her couch was running out the door naked. She didn't even care. It all hurt way too much. Then she told him what she really thought of cheating scum and he shoved her backwards. She tripped on the edge of the coffee and hit the floor. The rest was a blur. All she knew was that he was gone forever and her face hurt like hell.
There was only one place she wanted to be. She didn't care if she was crying her eyes out or the side of her face was turning purple. She needed her best friend. He would hold her close and tell her everything would be alright. She used her key and opened it as fast as she could with shaky hands. "Chris?" She said as loud as she could, door closing behind her. "Please be here." She whispered before the tears took over and she slid down the door, crying her eyes out.
Charlie: i came over the other day and you never answered the door
Charlie: you were suppose to tell me something
Charlie had kissed goodbye to Zachary and dashed off to her car. She had spend the morning with her boyfriend but she promised the afternoon and evening to her best friend, Chris. She made sure they hung out at least one night a week because she would go crazy if she didn't have her best friend. She was at his apartment faster then she thought and didn't even knock. He had given her the key for a reason after all. "Chris? Where are you?" She dropped her bag in the living room chair and started to look around for the boy.
