Clerk's pirate easthetic is manly just that. By day he works for a pirate themed ferry company. By night, he usually just sleeps, but is occasionally known to do adventures and fetch quests.
Most quests are are bring this thing to this person; or 'oh this magical artifact hasn't been seen in centuries but surely you'll stumble on it, you seem like a protagonist;' or oh fuck actual pirates, do something.
Gilon runs a rival pirate ferry. He isn't Clerk's friend and more a one-sided rival who really wants Clerk to rival back, but simply isn't getting the hint. Unlike Clerk who works alone on his ferry, Gilon has a crew of five other bunnies on his. During work he puts on a -very fragile- cutesy persona.
Gilon tags along for adventures to try to show up the group and/or take out his aggression via beating the shit outta anyone in his way.
Coral is Clerk's best friend. They met through Clerk almost drowning and Coral saving him, and have been inseparable ever since.
Coral is a flying fish, which is a siren-harpy. She usually stays in her more fishy form, though will go into a more bird form if she needs to go on land. There's no set two forms, but more of a slider between bird person and mermaid.
She adores going on adventures and seeing the world. She takes a souvenir from every new place she goes to remember it by, though most the time it is simply an interesting rock or shiny garbage.
Herbert is wizard with terribly unstable magic. He carries a gun to make up for his lack of reliable offense and is not thrilled about it. If ever given a good chance or reason he can and will try to cast some shit and force everyone to deal with the consequences.
He joined the crew to adventure mainly because Clerk seems to be a magnet to really weird shit happening and almost always getting out of it fine. So surely there is a magically reason why, cursed? blessed?? devine intervention??? He isn't positive, but he's convinced something is afoot.

He's certainly here, always has been as far as anyone can remember.
He likes his lil penguin mask, watching, and romantic walks on the beach.
He joins in on adventures and doesn't talk much. A wonderful listener. A good pal.
