No story for this, just an appreciation post for my Charr Engineer, Dhangalor. He’s gone through a lot of changes over the years. Before Heart of Thorns, he kept his mane in a tight weave, with little skulls hanging from rattails off the side. He also used to dress as a gentleman, at least as much as a Charr can. Being kind of an outcast, he didn’t quite get with Legion uniforms. Somewhere during the Maguuma War though, he let his hair down, revealling the scorched tips of his rather epic do. It was just simpler to let his hair go as it would, rather than continually binding it down. So he got poofy. His clothing also underwent a shift when he arrived in Elona. Almost immediately he realized that wearing full-body-covering leather and steel was kind of....detrimental to your health. So he settled on a lighter, simpler style based off local hunters and the Ogres. He also reconnected with his Whispers training, and regularly wears some of his Order’s official gear..if only to remind people that perhaps they shouldn’t try bullshitting him in negotiations. Along the way, he got his own skyscale, a rather big fellow he named ‘Bruce’ for some reason. Everyone loves Bruce, of course. He’s a big sweetie unless irritated, in which case his big bull horns make quite the impact.
