Stolen from her fahrar by the Flame Legion when she was but a cub, Mitta Burnteye was handed over to the Inquest in order to create the perfect assassin. After months of painful experimentation at the hands of rogue asuran geniuses hidden away in a secret lab high in the Northern Shiverpeaks, she was rescued by a group of norn warriors who took her back to Hoelbrak where she slowly recovered her wits and memory of everything except her name. After several years living amongst the highly individualistic norn, and known only as CHARRTOPUS - the codename branded into her shoulder - she finally travelled back to the Black Citadel to rejoin her people. Her ferocity in battle - especially against the Flame Legion, Inquest and Sons of Svanir - lead her to be attached to the Blood Legion and made part of a temporary warband where - despite her tendency towards being a bit of a loner - she developed close ties with Dinky, another guardian and all round joker.
