essDOCS to lead Baltic Exchange seminar on electronic Bills of Lading
We’re pleased to confirm that our very own VP Vessels, Costas Hadjipateras, will be leading an upcoming seminar on electronic Bills of Lading (eB/Ls) at the Baltic Exchange. The event will take place at the premises of the Exchange in London on Thursday 19 March, between 1230 and 1330hrs.
The session will include an overview of CargoDocs, covering the key benefits for parties such as ship owners and charterers, followed by a live demonstration of the solution and Q&A session.
Costas will be joined by leading maritime law expert, Robert Hough, formerly a director at Britannia P&I and member of the IG B/L subcommittee which dealt with eB/L approvals. Robert will provide his own unique insights on the legal and P&I aspects of the solution, combined with an historical overview of the legal solution which allowed the Clubs to mutualise risks associated with eB/L use.
