May I present, my attempt at illustrating the last four pages of Tevinter Nights. 😁 (Also, the first time I'm posting art on here!)

As the whole thing was quite literally too long to post on tumblr, I uploaded the full version on a customized site made for reading webcomics (via ComicFury). On a personal note though, I can't believe I actually finished it... As it had been a *very* long time since I drew (and finished) anything, let alone a 31 page comic and reading Tevinter Nights again finally sparked my motivation (and the courage to post it lol). So I want to thank Patrick Weekes for helping me overcome this massive art block and over two decades of Case Closed mangas for inspiring me how to draw an overly dramatic "exposing the imposter" moment. 😂 I tried my best to be as faithful to the book as possible and it took me forever, so... hope you like it! :D

Notes on "Resist and Unsubscribe"

I am generally not a fan of Scott Galloway and his takes. (Let's not even get into my longstanding beef with anyone associated with NYU Stern School of Business.) I do see value in his Resist and Unsubscribe push because boycotts can be effective. What I don't see is nuanced advice on how to divest from some of the companies identified as supporting Trump and ICE.

So I decided to take a stab at it and also call for others to help.

On the website Galloway lists "subscription-driven consumer tech companies we have identified as having outsized influence over the national economy and our president" and then "consumer-facing companies that we have identified as active enablers of ICE." Take a look, then reblog with your ideas on how to resist and/or divest or, at least start making steps to do so. Because we can't all "just unsubscribe".

Currently noodling through a chapter where Harding's past and present collide, and she gets to be Seen And Loved (no matter how annoying that is at times).

“Oh, that Vint is gone on you,” Charter drawls, leaning against the counter next to her. “I mean, I'd figured there was something on your end from the letters, but I was ready to kick her ass if it turned out she was stringing you along.” Harding smacks her on the arm and turns back to the bar. “No, no ass-kicking. She's been -” heroic, lovely, the unexpected compass star of Harding’s life in the north - “a gentlewoman.” “Bet you wish she wasn't,” Charter leers; she snickers when Harding smacks her again, and makes no attempt to dodge.
