Tanizaki x tachihara with 22. Neon ligts at 1:30 please

This is really, really short bc I’m not fully caught up with the manga rn (I’m working on it) so I wasn’t sure what to do with Tachihara but hey, angsty undertones y’all.

Also, sorry for not posting this earlier, I’ve been celebrating my Cambridge results yesterday by legit doing nth but work on this blog’s theme and introduce my friend to BSD.

22. Neon Lights at 1:30 // Tanitachi

—"Ahh, do you really have nothing better to do?"

Tanizaki sighs as he sits down at the park bench, wondering why he bothered with leaving the comfort of his bed in the midst of the night.

"Come on, it's been a while after all!"

He blinks and sighs. The other's right, they haven't seen each other for quite a bit, too busy with their work.

"Here!"

He looks at the glow stick in his hands before he glances to his side where Tachihara is settling down, grinning in excitement.

There he is, the reason Tanizaki even bothered with standing up to leave the house at 1:30 in the morning. 

A mafioso waving around neon glow sticks, sharing the joy and excitement of a child.

That’s the reason and no matter what he says, Tanizaki can’t regret it. Staring at those neon colors, seeing their light so luminescent in the dark just like his eyes.

Is this what it really is?

“Tachi… Michizou…”

Michizou turns to him, eyes wide, not being able to believe that Tanizaki spoke his first name.

“...”

Words won’t come out though so he just softly shakes his head. Maybe there are some things better left unspoken. He stares at the neon colors and wishes. 

And then he feels a slight pressure against his forehead.

“... Tachihara?”

His lover smiles at him. “Call me by my first name again.”

“Michizou.”

Both know those neon lights won’t shine forever.

Here at 1:30 in the morning.

That’s their only escape.

I have read a whole bunch of SCP, but haven’t tried my hand at writing one yet. 

I think my favorites are the one where the weird skulldog starts following you IRL if you download an app, becuase it causes an interesting divide in reactions of people- people who think it’s supremely creepy and people who want to attempt to be be friends with it, and then it’s interesting to see how that divide correlates to other things.

Also the one about the giant indestructable human-eating coral.  that was real fuckt up.
