Chartwell Dutiro Performs Music At SaharaTV Chartwell Dutiro is a seasoned mbira player who hails from the heart of Zimbabwe, in a remote village of Bindura, Chartwell picked up his first instrument at age four and alongside his family played in the local traditional band where they invoked the spirits to descend and guide the family. Since 1994 Chartwell has been based in Britain, performing, recording, teaching, and building bridges through his music. In this clip he performs in the SaharaTV studios in Manhattan, NY.
