Been Meaning To Post This For A While But Having The Occurrence Of A Recent Tragedy Barely Makes One Stomach Doing Anything Slightly Cheerful. Anyway, I Picked This Up On A Nice Deal A Week Earlier...I Can Fairly Say That This is My First Ever Authentic Vintage American Piece Yet, As A Matter Of Fact It is Somewhat As Old As I Am. It Was A Bit Banged Up Being That It's Two Previous Owner Literally Had No Interest In Playing It Or Playing At All. As What You'd Expect From The Charvel Jackson Type Models, The Neck Is Extremely Comortable, The Hardware On This Guitar Has To Be The Best I Tried Being That Even After Almost 30 Years Of Usuage (Gotoh Hardware) The Bridge Still Is Sturdy & The Tuners (Though Not With A Locking Mechanism) Still Stay In Tune Specially After A Few Jerking Around With The Whammy Bar. The Pickups Though Noiseless Single-Coils, Has About I'd Say Moderate Mids & While The Neck Coil Is Really Fat Almost To An Extent Of Sounding Like A Neck PAF On It's Own Without Any Modification, While The Bridge Coil Delivers Enough Treble Without Going Out Of Control & Being To Ice-Picking-Sharp. Setting Up The Action Was A Bit of a Bitch But Nothing That A Little Trial & Error Can't Fix In Lowering The Spring Mechanism Screws & Re-Tuning Every While To Adapt Which Suits Best, It Does Get Somewhat Close Low Action Towards The 15th Fret & Above But It's Nothing A Little Percision Can't Fix, I Actually Used It On The Last Solo Cover Video & While The Notes Were Up Towards The Referred Region, I Didn't Manage To Get The Full Sustain Out Of A Few Notes But The Rest Were Vibrant Enough Thankfully. So There It Is...A 1989 Charvette By Charvel Jackson. #Charvette #Charvel #CharvetteByCharvel #Charvette1989 #Gotoh #GotohTuners #GotohTremolo #SanDimas #CharvelJackson #ErnieBall #ErnieBallSlinky
