Hello! How about Neville for the multishipper challenge, please? Thank you!

Hey! Thank you so much for the ask!!

I’ve been thinking about this one, and I realized I don’t necessarily ship Neville with anyone, and I have no idea why??? 😭 He’s an amazing character, and I do really love him! I just don’t find myself writing/reading about him much, so that’s definitely something I want to fix.

HOWEVER! I can definitely list characters I have written/read him with, and even if I don’t actively ship it, I did enjoy them all!

I’ve written Neville with Draco a few times for drabble/oneshot requests, and that was pretty cool.

I’ve seen Neville and Charlie around, and I’m down with that. I do really love me some Charlie in any context.

Neville and Harry - very good, very nice. 👌

I do love the idea of Neville with either Ginny or Luna (should’ve mentioned this on my Ginny post, I’m now realizing) - or even all three together.

And I guess for the last mention...while I definitely disagree with JKR in general, but also with her ideas of how relationships would’ve worked out in canon, I do think the concept of Neville ending up with Hannah Abbott is kinda sweet and nice, and I do like when they’re mentioned in fic, so I guess I could be down for that as well.

Send me a character and I’ll tell you at least two characters I ship them with!

I love that this ship is gaining traction, it is precious in every way.

Charlie is a man of action. He spends his days studying and taming dragons, and caring for their whelps, and letting his gorgeous red hair blow in the strong Romanian wind.

But at night, when the last Ridgeback has closed its eyes, Charlie goes home to his lover

Neville greets him at the door with a kiss and Charlie’s own faux-leather collar and a warm plate of food

Charlie melts, allowing his master to wash his hair, and massage his shoulders, and feed him mince pies and custard tart

Once he’s shed his skin of the day, Neville welcomes him into the night

He likes to use Charlie’s own straps from the dragon paddocks to tie his wrists to the headboard, but he uses silk to separate his ankles, spreading his gorgeous, muscular legs on either side of the mattress

Charlie may be tough in the fields, dodging fire and corralling dragons, but he likes when Neville caresses him when he opens him up slowly

When Neville kisses his lips and his throat and the eager tip of his cock

When Neville traces words into his chest with his tongue

Words like cherish and worship and love

And after what sometimes feels like hours, and Charlie is whimpering, Neville finally enters him, filling him, joining them together as one

Charlie feels so loved, so taken care of

And Neville feels like the luckiest man in the world, taming his Dragonologist
