just read fic (out of like, 37 total fics actually dedicated to chase and foreman lol) and it made me soooo sad but also like :) happy. anyways i’m in a mood and that mood is about how chase just doesn’t believe he’s lovable and how it’s been thrown in his face time and time again, from his parents (neglect) to cameron (“did you ever even love me?”) to the nun in s8 who chose to enter sisterhood. not to mention the speed dating episode where he had an entire crisis about how people only like him for his looks. anyways this is all to say that the reason in my head why chase and foreman couldn’t get together is because for the duration of the show chase didn’t believe he was lovable! like he isn’t capable of being loved :( but tHEN BUT THEN!!! after season 8. chase and foreman :) yeah <3
