“Gabriellllleeeee” Chase sang out as he found his girlfriend at the party, “I am would like to go now” he said a little drunkenly. “I played beer pong with Savvy and I am very tired now” said the boy trying to be as coherent as possible. “I also got asked three times if I’m the gossip blog, it has been a chaotic night” he said as he put his arm around her, “and I haven’t been kissed in hours and you know what that does to me”. Chase felt like an old man, he had enough to drink and he was already ready to leave the party. He hated it, but he was so tired. It was probably all the extra practices he had been doing, plus the babysitting, and time with Gabrielle. He had just overworked himself. @gabriellehale​

Chase took a shower after practice and then headed over to Gabrielle’s house with his backpack. Skirting her parents with ease, he made it upstairs. He opened the door and put his backpack on the ground by her bed and hopped on the mattress, the girl doing her homework at her desk. “Practice was so tiring, especially because all people could talk about was the pregnancy” said Chase kicking his shoes off and laying on the bed, just looking up at her. She was so pretty, Chase liked knowing she was always here when he got home.

Chase went the next afternoon and knocked on Gabrielle’s door and came on in, “Hey did I give you enough time?” he asked nervously, “Because I can get lost again” he added. He was nervous about leaving her alone, but he knew that’s what she wanted. Chase just felt like he couldn’t give her that and stay okay. @gabriellehale​

As per Riley’s advice, Chase picked up flowers on the way home. The puppy just asleep in the passenger seat of the Jeep. When he got home he went to Gabrielle’s house instead of his and went upstairs to find her and return the sleeping puppy to her. He knocked on her door and then proceeded to just walk in without waiting, as he always did “Honey I’m hooooome” he whispered because he didn’t want to excite the puppy.

Chase changed out of his gray sweatpants into jeans and headed over to see Gabrielle. With a quick check of his hair in the mirror he locked up and headed out. He was hoping this was just going to be a nice and easy day, but was it ever with her? He walked into the house and went right up to her bedroom, opened the door, and walked in.

Chase got back into town a few days later and put his bags down. He made a beeline to the kitten and gave her a cuddle, “Hey Saphira” he said giving her a little scratch behind the ears. He went over to his walkie talkie, “Chase Lyons calling in for Hale Storm, do you copy? over” said the boy into the device. “Copy you loud and clear, Chase Lyons. This is Hale Storm, do you want me to alert All Hale the Queen? Over” said Gino back to him over the walkie-talkie. “Tell her there is something sus in the guest house. I want it to be a surprise. Over” said Chase into the talkie before putting it down. “Copy that, mission is a go and All Hale the Queen is on the move, over” said Gino a few minutes later.

Chase heard Gabrielle knock and he ran over to the door and opened it, “Merry Christmas” he said with a big smile on his face and a Santa hat on his head. Christmas by himself had been a new low, but Gabrielle coming over made it all better. “I have coco and your presents all ready” said Chase as he took his gifts out of her hands and put them by the tree. He smiled at his girlfriend and took her hand, “Presents now? Or presents later?” he asked, the anticipation clearly killing him. He had worked really hard on his gifts for her, trying to find things that she didn’t already have. They had a lot of holidays to come, and he wanted this one to be just as good as any. @gabriellehale​

Chase was hidden under Gabrielle’s bed when her parents came in. This was honestly all so ridiculous, but he was not looking to upset them again. He just stayed quiet and listened.
