“I do,” Morgyn said sitting down. “Have you done something in which you should be nervous?”
“No of course not,” Jolene snapped, starting to shove her things into her bag. “At least I don’t think so.”
“You’ve been doing very well with your studies,” Morgyn said, deciding to let her off the hook.
Zipping her bag, Jolene eyed the sage sitting beside her. “Then why do I feel like this isn’t just a casual chat?”
Morgyn smiled “because it’s not.”
“What have I done,” Jolene demanded, hefting her bag to her shoulder, ready to leave.
