Welcome to the home of Project Tyrian, the process of writing the novel Chasing Tyrian.
This blog is where I will post updates, information, and questions about Chasing Tyrian as I write it.
Chasing Tyrian is a novelisation of a play I wrote in 2024 called Turbulence on the HMS Hyacinth for a theatre competition. Ever since then, I have planned on rewriting it in more detail as a novel, and including the bits and pieces that were lost in the short-form play and the cancelled sequel. The plot centres around a ship called the RMS Hyacinth and the struggle of searching for an exclusive, rare dye called tyrian purple.
Sometime soon, I will post my schedule and deadlines for draft one. I am a college student, so this may take some time.
