"...Nate." Apollo greets the metahuman without turning his head. There's no need, really.... he knows instinctively who it is. The list of beings capable of venturing this close to the sun can be counted on one hand, and even fewer would deliberately seek Apollo out.
(It’s more than that, though. Ever since the tangling of their powers, when Nate attempted to irradiate his solar cells, the Sun King can just... sense the metahuman's energy whenever it draws near. They are connected, now. Bonded at a nuclear level.)
Which is helpful in alerting Apollo to Nate’s presence, but still doesn’t explain why the other metahuman is here. The Sun King stretches a stiffness from his shoulders and turns, a touch of surprise coloring his voice. "...what are you doing here?"
