Luca set up these nights every now and again, when he found himself running out of space in his studio and he needed to get rid of some of his work. He didn’t like parting with it, which was odd, because most people assumed he only painted with the intention of selling, but that wasn’t the case. He only started selling when his parent’s friends offered to buy a piece hanging in their hallway. And now, it’s when he literally has no more room.
He was walking around, doing his best to keep to himself, because although the walls were spread with his work, he didn’t do well with all the attention. He rounded the corner and spotted Prudence, who he’d talked with at the last ball, and she was stood in front of a piece he was particularly fond of, one he wasn’t even sure if he really wanted to sell at all. “It’s uh-- well it’s hard to describe actually” he laughed then, shaking his head.
