I know Minn-Erva is not going to be part of the Marvel story any longer, but promise you’ll keep me posted on how Captain Marvel 2 will go? I’m looking forward to what’s to come next. I think you and Teyonah will be a power dream team.

So two things: one... you gotta show me your craziest dance moves tonight. And two... your newest Marvel sister just wants to tell you that I think you are pretty badass. How are you, Brie?? Wanna grab a drink?

Garden Grove
Robbie picked up hot chocolate for him and Brie as they had agreed to meet to go over the script for Dirt Roads. First of all, the Cocoa Shack seemed like a good place to meet up and hang out. He had the script in his hand as he found a table for both, waiting for his order to be called. He was looking forward to this new project. And secondly, the two of them hadn’t really gotten to know each other quite yet, so this would be the chance to do so. It was going to be fun and there was a lot of The Grove for them to go out and explore. Robbie looked up to see if Brie was there already and waved with a smile when he had spotted her.

It was her first cruise in town, and Hailee had been pretty excited for things to get started. Passing by the ice cream shop on her way in only made her bounce around even more. After putting her things neatly in the corner and putting her hair up in a messy bun, she looked around for her roommate for the trip, ready to get some fun going. “So, what do you feel like doing, food first or ice cream? I could go for a milkshake right now and then take a million pictures for the upper deck. What do you say, be my partner in crime?”

All I Want for Christmas- Brie, Camille, Sam
@samueltsao, @brie-harlow
So this is what all the people in the christmas carols must feel like. Camille felt so... Warm. The fire was going, Brie and Rollant (wearing the sweater Brie had picked out for him; oversized and truly horrible. When Santa is fighting a shark on the front of your shirt, you have gone too far) were decorating the tree they had brought home earlier this morning while Samuel was at work, and Camille was hanging the lights, and wreaths and mistletoe around the apartment. He had recently gotten a job teaching art at a High School, and when he told his students how special this holiday would be for him and his family they chipped in and each made home-made holiday cards for him to put on the mantel piece of the fireplace.
Rollant was telling Brie some story about When he was Brie’s age in Paris, while the record player crackled, playing one of Camille’s grandmother’s Christmas albums. He didn’t play her albums often, but come the holidays he felt obligated to- it made him feel closer to her. Louis Armstrong and his Grandmother were singing a jazzy rendition of Walking in a Winter Wonderland behind the laughter of Brie and the chirping of the birds. Anyway, this would be his first Christmas with Sam and... It felt like he had his whole family here, except for her. He wanted her to be here tonight.
He took a deep breath, stepping down from the ladder and taking a look around. He stole a candy cane off of the tree, dodging Brie’s attempt to swat at him only to be flicked on the forehead by Rollant.
“Voleur!” Rollat exclaimed, calling Camille a thief, “See, my love-” He said referring to Brie in his thick accent, “This! This, all the time- Street rat!” Camille rolled his eyes, as Rollant wrapped an arm around his shoulder, “Good hair cut.” He commented. “You needed one- He looked like a hippie, no, Brie?” Since Camille had gotten his job, it required him to cut his hair and actually keep up with his facial hair. No longer could he look like a homeless artist. Camille looked at his watch.
“Oh! Samuel will be home soon- I am going to call him. Brie get the surprise from the other room please?” He asked, “You both remember what to do?” He wanted to Surprise Sam, they had decorated all day while he was at work and had a family dinner waiting for him when he got home. Brie was set up to video tape his reaction, and Rollant was there for moral support. He caught Camille before he could leave, placing both his hands on Camille’s shoulders.
“I am so proud of you, son.” He said in french. Camille took a deep breath, nodding, as Rollant patted his back, “Everything will be perfect.” Offering a wink before going to help Brie bring out Sam’s early Christmas present. A big red and green box, sat right under the tree while Camille went to text Sam.
“He is down the hall!” Camille called, “Hide hide! Remember don’t come out until it’s time... I am looking at you Rollant.” Rollant waved a hand at him.
“HUMP. Brie and I will do just fine! Come along dear...”
When they were out of sight, Camille quickly glanced at himself in the mirror, staring at himself for a minute before leaving the apartment to meet Samuel in the hall. “Well, it took you long enough to get home mr. boss man, I thought you were never going to come back.” He whined. He took Sam’s brief case for him as they walked to Sam’s apartment door. “Who still carries a briefcase? Only you, Samuel...” He commented. “The door’s open.”
He couldn’t wait to see the look on Sam’s face when he saw the decorations.
Ground Control to Major Ward- Amelia, Brie, Camille
It didn’t take long for Camille to find Lucien’s cell number. He knew the creepy receptionist at the desk would have it and it only cost him owing her a favor which he was sure was going to bite him in the ass later. He sprinted out of the doors of the hotel, not bothering to respond to Lucien’s reply.
Indian take-out place, two blocks from hotel. Indian take-out two blocks from hotel.
When he found the bar he panted, looking around before calling out towards the beach, “Amelia!” He let his feet hit the sand, searching behind every rock, trashcan, he could find before hitting the beach bathroom further down the shore line. “Amelia?” He asked, maybe to no one.
Knocking on the door, “Are you in there?” He pushed the door open not seeing anything but stalls and tiled walls. He caught glimpse of himself in a cracked mirror, “Mother Fucker.” He mumbled but he was more worried about finding Amelia than his black eye, and aching body, “Ame-” He started before spotting little feet popping out from one of the stalls.
He walked slowly over the the door, which was locked, before getting on his hands and knees, praying that she wasn’t passed out or hurt, before letting out a sigh of relief, “Jeez Amelia…” He paused, he had promised not to scold her, “Unless the landlord evicted you. This isn’t the hotel, you know.” he said gently, “Here… scoot over Holmes-” He slid under the stall so he could unlock the door, letting it swing open so to free his friend. He said he wouldn’t be mad but he couldn’t help but take her face in his hands, turning it gently from this side to that, examining it for bruises. Taking a knee next to her, he sighed, holding up the bandaid, “It even is a fun neon color. Because I’m such a good friend.” He wet a paper towel with warm water and soap, returning to Amelia knowing she probably wasn’t going to like the sting… So he didn’t tell her when he placed the towel to her knee. After that process was done, he placed the neon green bandaid over her scrape, and a tiny kiss on her knee, “…There all better, alright?”
After getting Amelia out of the stall, onto the beach, he bent down to let her hop on his back. His body was more than a little sore from the fight but he would be damned if he let it show. Arms securely holding onto her legs he walked both of them down the street. “That Indian Take out place looks good…” He commented with a small smile, glancing slightly over his shoulder to look up at her. He wouldn’t ask Amelia any questions until she sobered up, he’d try to just be there for her right now. These things happened, and they were a squad after all.
