Daisy Duck had the best designs that Atta had ever seen, and she had been itching to own a custom dress since she had come onto the fashion scene. There had been no real occasion for it until her wedding, the only time a woman could demand whatever she wanted. At least, for Atta, she could command the few things she could control, including the food, the venue, and the dress she wore. All she could hope was that Daisy had a long turnaround time, and she made it clear that there was no rush on getting the dress prepared (Colin would have said otherwise, but he at least let her handle this part on her own). After multiple consultations, finding the smallest of faults in Daisy’s design to keep her timeline delayed, Atta felt terrible for being such a headache. “Oh, you had something in mind, I just know it. There wouldn’t have been an unless without one.” Besides, doing something for Daisy would take another day off of her working on the dress design, anyway, if that’s what it took. “I’ve been way too spoiled, are you kidding me? I just want this wedding to take a halt--I feel like everyone’s in such a rush to help me that I can’t even enjoy being engaged!” A lie that slipped right through the cracks, an easy one now that she was comfortable with telling them so easily. “You’re friends with Lilah, too, right? She’s helping me with all the documents. I’m going to have to treat the both of you, even together, if you’d prefer.”
