The atmosphere in the boys’ apartment was that of pure chaos. The more people that came in, the stranger things began to seem, with a cake passing by that Wendy was certain no one who lived in the apartment had ordered. At least, she was fairly certain, at best. Who knew what the boys could’ve dialed in on their phones while she wasn’t looking? With how much Fawn had in her hands, Wendy could see disaster coming from a mile away, even if the other girl couldn’t. “Oh, of course!” Before she knew it, the very cake that had confused her was in her hands, and she was being directed toward the kitchen with the hopes that it would make it there in one piece. Miraculously, Wendy set it on the nearest counter she could find, satisfied that it hadn’t suffered from people bumping into each other at every turn. Though she hadn’t even thought of the blonde Fawn was referring to, Wendy couldn’t help but feel a sting from her words. To think that she’d only helped her for the sake of wanting Tink’s approval couldn’t have been further from the truth. “No, I--I didn’t ask to help because of that,” she quickly said in defense. “I just thought it looked like you might have your hands full, is all. Why, did you ... you didn’t think I was only trying to help for that reason, did you?”
