Since Blaise had told Adam about his night with Fifi he had been intrigued. He wasn’t sure that the choices his friend made were good or not, but he knew he was hurt and that was enough for curiosity to lead Adam to seek more answers. In his own strange way. He’d called Fifi, telling her one of the other maids was sick and he needed some things done around the house. It was a complete lie, but he was curious to see if she would mention anything to him. Once she arrived he was waiting in the kitchen. “Make me some tea, will you?” he asked after greeting her. He tapped his fingers on the marble countertop. “Thanks for coming in on such short notice,” he said. It was an unusual thing for him to say as he just expected the most out of his employees but he was trying to get her to warm up to him a bit.
