There were few people in life who Wendy actively avoided, mostly because she thought the notion of avoidance was rather rude. Of course, she'd been the one who had been avoided when it came to herself and a certain blonde in her life, but other than that, there were no true instances to utilize such a social tactic. There would've been no such reason to steer clear from one mister Hook, either, as she called him, except that he had grown to consider Peter public enemy number one. By association, she and the rest of the boys were secondary desirables, only to be used against as pawns in his main rivalry with Peter, or so it seemed.
If everything went to plan, Wendy would never have to see the man again. In fact, she did plan on that, as she avoided every spot he frequented, including where he kept his shop on the dock. Unfortunately for her, he was strangely well-read, for someone who seemed to take the other aspects of life rather illegally. It was with her edited manuscript in her hand, waiting for Belle, that she saw him out of the corner of her eye, approaching the same counter she was waiting at. Wendy had found it, from past experience, at least, to kill the man with a certain level of kindness, which she'd grown accustomed to exercising. "If you're waiting for help, I believe the owner is on her break," she mentioned calmly, though she gripped her bound papers to her chest a bit tighter. "I was going to talk to her about something, but, um, you can go first."
