who: scamp & @ladylilah where: lilah's house
It had quite honestly come as a shock that his mother had let both of his sisters stay over the night before. Scamp had to beg and plead for it, to be fair, but the fact that she'd given in was enough of a victory for him. He knew that she needed a break, some time to herself to process what had happened, and a night's sleep without having to worry what where her children were. His sisters also needed some time away from the prodding of their mother, to get their minds off of what had happened earlier in the day and pretend like things were normal for a few hours. Both were services he was happy to provide.
In the morning, Scamp had agreed that they'd all come for breakfast to his mother's house, which was where he'd pulled up with his sisters at exactly ten o'clock, sharp. Lilah had already gotten a full spread ready for them, to be expected, and it was enough for Scamp to know that she hadn't slept much the night before at all. After the pancakes were gone and his sisters went to spend time with Colette, Scamp had his mother to himself. "You didn't have to do all this," he insisted, wrapping an arm around her shoulders as she began to clean. "They're all good, I promise. We can stay over tonight here, if you want."
