“Sorry Eli, I know he’s your boyfriend and all, but I’m stealing Zach for like five minutes. That cool?” In all honesty, it didn’t really matter whether or not it was cool, she was going to do it anyway.

“You little bitch! I found out from Scorpius that you got a fucking flat. And I haven’t seen you since Christmas. Holy shit, this place is, like, MTV cribs worthy. Not even just MTV cribs, but like the most swanky, expensive pads of MTV cribs. I’m gonna raid your fridge, bye.”
"Are we going to fuck or what?" Zach laid on the motel bed, he already grew impatient when he's horny, "I answered your call and now I'm here, you should at least not take so long to get ready. I'm already starting to take off my pants."
"----Fuck off, will ya? If I'm going to feed and kill this girl, I fucking will. I don't need a god damn babysitter telling what I can or cannot do, but thanks for caring."
"What a guy gotta do to get a little attention around here, yeah?" Don't be so needy, Zach.
The Wolf Trio | | Thom, Zach, and Shiloh
The trio gets together again for a round of video games and teasing.
Shiloh had left her room after cleaning up in there, having needed to do something to occupy herself. Once everything was actually cleaned up, she glanced at her notebook again before shoving it off out of sight and grabbing the laundry basket she had. Shiloh went to put it downstairs in the laundry room before hearing noise from the living room and heading around the corner, peeking her head. A smile tugged at the corners of her mouth as she spotted Zach and Thom. Forgetting about cleaning, she pushed away from the wall and moved to come around the couch. "You two are loud. People are gonna think you do are goin' crazy." Shiloh looked at the two 'wolves before she plopped down on the couch between then, closer to Zach as she watched the video game they were playing and his fingers on the controller. "Thommy kickin' your ass?"
Thom knew the pack needed a little bit of down time given everything that was going on lately, Zach most of all. The beta had been working practically nonstop to keep the pack safe and prepared, and Thommy was around to make sure he took at least a few hours off. It didn't take much to coerce Zach into a night of relaxation. Just the X-Box, Madden, a six pack and a bag of pork rinds. The game had been neck and neck until Thom managed to pull ahead, just before Shiloh came in to join them. "'Course I'm kickin' his ass!" Thom hollered, as he watched his quarterback get sacked. "Damn it."
Zachary didn't care to sit around playing video games but he did enjoy the rest of the factors in the equation; brother, booze, and junk food. The Beta knew better than to try and discourage the Fathead when he put his mind to something and he himself was guilty, after all. Zach had been working hard at working hard and there were few people who could ground him. Luckily, the wolf sharing the couch with him was just such a sort and Zach had caved after perhaps a steady half hour of pestering. The Beta perked a little at the sound of someone up and about but it wasn't until he lifted his head and angled his chin to sample the air that he realized who was joining them. Offering Shiloh a brief smile as he glanced her way, moving to accommodate her presence beside him, Zach was soon back to concentrating on the television, his fingers a little slow and clumsy on the controller; droid controls were easier. “Spoke too soon, Fathead. Lucky we ain’t got money on this game, ain’t that right, Shiloh?”
Shiloh looked over the mess of the living room with a smile, happy that Thom and Zach were enjoying themselves for the moment rather than going crazy worrying about things. "Looks like you're just barely doin' that, Thommy." She said as she watched the screen. There was a look of amusement on her face, actually enjoying the idea of watching the two try to beat each other at a game all while cracking jokes at both of them. "I don't know 'bout that, Zach." Shiloh turned her head, looking at the Beta. "Reckon I'd put my money on Thommy, he's not just pressin' random buttons." She smiled, blue eyes on Zach still till she finally moved them over to the other 'wolf. "But you, Thom, you're not that good either. Guess it's gonna be a surprise."
Thom nudged Shiloh with a playful grin when she started ragging on them, expecting nothing less from his little sister. Even though they all lived together in the mansion, Thom hadn't seen much of her lately. He had been distracted with boot camp and drill training, working, and hanging out with Cora. He hadn't even worked on Zach's old bike in a while. "I'd like to see you try to do it, you think it's so easy," he teased right back, glancing at her briefly before turning his focus back to the tv. "Ain't as simple as it looks."
Zachary “Oh you can’t let him go on when he gets sassy like this, sweetheart.” Zach’s brows shot up in amusement, eyes still trained on the television though as he watched his team fumble the ball he had to take a deep breath and sit back. The Beta gently coaxed the controller into Shiloh’s hands, taking the opportunity to light himself a cigarette. Sitting forward to grab his beer and bag of pork rinds off the table, he eventually settled back against the couch and stretched his legs a bit of a ways out in front of him. “Make him eat astro-turf, girl.”
Shiloh "You two are idiots." Shiloh said lovingly, grasping the controller that was handed to her. "Reckon I can do that. No cheatin', Thom or I'll get Cora." The little blonde stood up for a moment to toe off her boots, sitting back down and pulling her legs up on the couch with her. Her fingers worked on the buttons as she bit the side of her lip in concentration as she watched the screen. Her eyes shifted for a moment over to Thom before she shot a hand out to try and push the controller out of his hands to mess him up. "Never said I wasn't allowed to play dirty to win though."
Thom "Get her? Where you gonna get her? I don't cheat anyways," he insisted, pausing the game while the controller got passed around. Pushing his lips together in a firm line in determination, Thom hit play again once Shi was settled. "Hey now! No cheating I thought!" Thom lifted his arms up and away from Shiloh, though he was grinning, trying to keep up with the game at the same time.
Zachary "Don't you go complainin', Thomas." Zach stated plainly, smirking as he dragged on his cigarette and watched the computer-generated players run around in what he supposed people thought was shockingly realistic HD. At the thought he moved to rub at his eyes with his thumb and forefinger, blinking afterwards as if to refocus his sight before he cracked his beer open. The Beta washed a mouthful of pork rind down with the first, cool gulp of beer and fell quiet afterward to watch the two go at it.
Shiloh could hear the little clicks of the buttons as she pressed them despite her laugh that was still chiming. "I'd get Cora to come join me in beatin' your butt at this game." Shiloh said, watching the play happen on screen till it ended in a touchdown and she let out a little cheer. "Reckon we should put money on this so I can make you broke, Thommy." She leaned back, meeting Zach's side and tilting her head back to look at him. "Whoops, forgot you're not part of the couch." Shiloh joked, looking back at the tv screen when she realized she wasn't playing. "Ah, no! Thom that doesn't count."
Thom "I ain't complaining, just pointing out this here double standard," Thom said with a smirk, eyes focused on the screen as he tried to fight against Shiloh's players. "Cora calls the shots in just 'bout everything else, don't need her beating me in my game too," he pouted. When Shiloh turned her attention from the game for a few moments, Thom took advantage by getting possession of the ball. "Totally counts, girl!" he whooped, taking a swig of his beer while the game replayed the last play.
Zachary Zach gave Shiloh a brief grin before he leaned sideways and into her slightly, reaching behind the she-wolf in an attempt to give Thom a playful slap upside the head while minding both beer and cigarette, the pork rinds neatly tucked away at his other side. After, the wolf rested his arm along the back of the couch, cigarette burning down between his fingers as he drank from the beer again. “Girl, could suit me to become part this couch. Whole lot less work, trust in that. Thom! Dangit, Fathead, we been sayin’ no cheatin’!”
Shiloh brought a hand to her mouth, stifling a laugh from being in the middle of the two, quite literally as Zach reached behind her. She rested her chin on her shoulder, looking behind her at Zach and then whipping around to look at Thom. "Zach's on my side. You lose." Shiloh teased, going back to trying to win the game. She couldn't let Thom beat her now, she wouldn't hear the end of it for days. "You just be the couch potato and I'll hold down the fort." The blonde leaned back, shifting on the couch to sit somewhat sideways and jab Thom's side lightly with her toes. "You call that clicking buttons, Thommy? Barncat and Ghost could do better than you."
Thom "Ain't that the story of my life, gettin' ganged up on by you two," Thom teased, letting out an exaggerated 'woe is me' sigh. It was nice to hear joking and chuckling from his beta, so Thom didn't mind if it was at his expense. "I ain't just clicking random buttons, that's Zach's job." He squirmed away from her toes, grabbing her foot and holding it captive in his lap with one hand and steering his player with the ball down to the endzone.
Zachary "Should be thankin' yer stars for it, otherwise you'd have no friends!" Zach chuckled, using his leg to nudge Shiloh and he waited to catch her gaze before he waggled his eyebrows. Jutting his bearded chin at the screen, he whistled low while shaking his head. "Shi, this cheatin' sumbitch needs to be taught a fast lesson." The wolf shoved another couple of pork rinds in his mouth, chewing eagerly and speaking up around it. "Ain't just random buttons, Fathead, I'm gettin' a bead on what they do. Never had new-fangled systems like this, I ain't even played much Nintendo when that was a thing."
Shiloh nodded in agreement with Zach, the nudge making her turn her head to him to meet his eyes. She rolled her eyes playfully at the Beta, a small giggle leaving her lips. "I'm way ahead of you." Shiloh said as she tried to steal her foot back from Thom. Her fingers were still pressing buttons, smirking when her player tackled Thom's before he could score a touchdown. "Loser, that's what you get for stealing my foot!" Shiloh set her feet on the couch next to Thom, leaning into Zach's side as she focused on trying to get the ball before Thom could get a touchdown in the next play. "So what did you do Zach? Climb trees? Make fun of people with weird heads like Thommy?"
Thom "Quit hoggin' all them pork rinds!" Thom called out, his eyes still focused on the tv. He took his hand back so he could use the controller properly, but then lifted his leg to trap Shiloh's foot under his thigh. "Where you think you're goin'?" he asked with a smirk, talking both about her feet and her players running on the screen. When the whistle blew and he had both hands on the controller, he was able to power through for just far enough to get a touchdown. "That's what I'm talkin' about!" he hollered, jumping up while the game showed a replay and snatching the bag of pork rinds from Zach. "Hey Shi, did I ever tell you my ex-girlfriend Nintendo story?"
Zachary The Beta sat forward almost abruptly, a low growl catching in his throat as he made a lazy grab for the pork rinds when Thom grabbed them. Never one for liking his things being touched, especially food, Zach glared but only for a moment before he was able to settle himself and sit back, relinquishing the junk food. Only because it was Thommy. As he snorted out the last of his frustration he let his arm drop from the back of the couch to rest around Shiloh, his wolf further calmed by contact with a pack member. The entire environment in the living room at the time was doing wonders for his stress and anxiety as well as helping to ease his inner beast’s restlessness. “Tch, you ain’t talkin’ ‘bout nothin’, Fathead. Don’t you know you’re supposed to let a lady win?”
Shiloh let out a noise, wiggling her feet under Thom. Her feet were warm at least, but she wasn't exactly keen on her feet staying under the other 'wolf. Shiloh was still clicking at buttons, biting on her lip in concentration once more. The little blonde shook her head at what Zach said. "Guys don't do that anymore, Zach. All that shit, long gone except for you. Reckon that's a shame, we need more guys like that." Shiloh laughed when she got an interception, letting out a cheer. "Thom get your fat ass off my feet!" Shiloh complained.
Thom chuckled as he bounced a little on Shiloh's feet, purposefully annoying her before he lifted his leg to let her feet go. "If we always let them girls win, they'll never learn how to play the damn thing," he teased, then groaned as Shiloh got an interception against him. "You ever play an old Nintendo with the cartridge games?" Thom asked her, going on with his story even if neither of them cared to listen. "I had one when I was a kid, kept it for years. I brought it to this girlfriend's place, see, so we could play it. Then we broke up and she was so pissed at me that I didn't feel like goin' back to get my stuff. Turns out, she sold all my shit including that old Nintendo at a yard sale."
Zachary "Jesus Christ, I'm set to buy you a new dang console myself to quit from hearin' different variations'a this here sob story." Zach rolled his eyes for effect but was fairly certain that this was a new tale Thom was bestowing upon them, just as good for a laugh as any other of the wolf's stories. It was tempting to throw a anecdote out there, himself, but Zach had never been one for video games and it surely carried over into adulthood. He learned a little about the newer controllers (but since when did it become more than a joystick and two buttons?) but couldn’t muster the dedication to sit and play as Thommy and Shiloh did. He’d grown used to watching, though, and settled with his beer and cigarette as he glimpsed the television screen. “So she done sold it at a yard sale. That where your balls went, too?” Zach turned to look at Thom, grinning away.
Shiloh Shiloh pouted, trying to pull her feet out again until Thom let them go. She kept them laid out, although clear away from Thommy this time. "Think I played one back when I was a kid at a friend's house. That was a long time ago though." Shiloh listened to the story, her attention split between the 'wolf and the television as she continued to play the game. "Moral of the story, don't piss women off." Shiloh said, nudging Thommy's side with her foot before bringing it back away from him so he couldn't trap her feet again. The blonde laughed at what Zach chimed in though, wondering what the other versions of the story were. Shiloh laughed at the tease to Thom, glancing over at the other. "That would certainly explain a lot 'bout Thommy boy." Shiloh, still tucked into Zach's side, smirked. "Also Thommy, you might wanna keep it down when you and Cora are havin' your fun. You sound like you're either in a lot of pain or dyin'. Not attractive."
Thom "There's another version where I go try to buy it back and she won't sell it to me, even for way more than it's worth," Thom said with a chuckle, elbowing Shiloh. He continued to run his players around the field, and managed to tackle Shiloh's player to the ground, which he did with a whoop. At Zach's dig at his manhood, Thom took a big handful of the porkrinds, shoving them into his mouth with a glare at his beta. He looked down at Shiloh with a raised eyebrow. "That's not me, that's all her," he said with a cocky grin, knowing he'd get slapped for it. "Those are screams of pleasure. You need me to talk to ol' Flynn, make sure he's doin' it right?"
Zachary eased the controller out of Shiloh’s hands so that she could reach over and slap Thommy for him, if she chose to, so that he wouldn’t have to do it himself and risk smushing Shiloh in the attempt. Raising a brow at Thommy when he caught the tail end of his glare, Zach couldn’t help to smirk widely though he was soon focused back on the start of the play. He balanced the controller on his thigh, pinning it with his palm so that he could play half-heartedly with quickly tapping fingers of one hand while the other could still wield his smoke. “Thom just makes a lotta noise ‘cause he runs outta steam, two three minutes in. Hoo, now…lookit that pass.”
Shiloh glared at Thom, more than happy that Zach took the controller so she could move around the couch easily to slap the side of Thommy's head. Not lightly either. "It ain't Cora, that's a fact. Zach's probably right, got pretend you're better than you are." Feeling a little bad even with the playfulness, she nuzzled her cheek against Thommy's before moving to sit back where she was. Head on Zach's shoulder, she looked to the side at the cigarette in Zach's hand. "Does that even do anythin' for ya?"
Thom yelped dramatically at Shiloh's whack to his head, trying to move out of her reach and running the ball out of bounds in the process. "What'chu doing listening, anyway?" he pointed out, mock scandalized. He lightened up when Shiloh nuzzled against him, grinning at her to let her know he wasn't really upset. When she curled up against Zach again, Thom reached to take her feet again, putting them in his lap this time before going back to his controller. "Relieves stress, don't it?"
Zachary “Don’t do me no worse than anythin’ else, reckon.” His reply was distant and airy as he purposely paid more attention to the game than Shiloh’s question. Smokers heard similar things on the regular and by that point the Beta automatically tuned out most conversation about it. The only thing stopping him from ignoring the comment completely was the fact that it was Shiloh who had spoken it, though that didn’t stop him from taking another drag as the game went to a cut scene between quarters. Angling his head away so that he didn’t blow smoke out at the other wolves keeping his company, he extended his arm so that he was holding the cigarette further away from the couch as he answered Thommy. “Yeah an’ you cause me more’n it can relieve so what d’you figure’s the point, hm?”
Shiloh looked from the cigarette to Zach and shrugged her shoulders. "Not like it'll do much to you, just curious about it. I knew a few people back home who used to do the same. Reckon they just wanted to look cool and couldn't be like Thommy who just oozes coolness." Shiloh added the end teasingly toward the 'wolf. She wasn't paying much attention to the television now, more on the two others on the couch. "Pretty sure that's other people..." The blonde mumbled under her breath before reached her arm out to Zach's extended one with the cigarette, trying to reach for it. "Thom, what's one thing you'd want to do before you die? Anything at all, don't matter 'bout money or whatever else would get in the way." She asked randomly, wondering if he'd give the cliche answer of something like sky diving.
Thom "That's right, listen to Shiloh," Thom teased, not bringing up the fact that he smoked too. He didn't need to give Shiloh any more ammunition to use against him when the two of them loved to gang up on him. "Only one thing?" Thom considered her question for a minute while he played the game, trying to come up with something. "Train in MMA with my man Jon Bones Jones."
Zachary curled his arm back, craning his head above Shiloh’s as he moved in for another drag. It was harder with the younger wolf trying to take the cigarette from him and he even laughed out a little smoke but kept on as he meant to, stubborn as ever. To further distract her he left the controller on her stomach and moved to hold the cigarette out and away with the newly freed hand. “Jon Bonehead, more like.”
Shiloh looked at the controller, forgetting the cigarette for a moment as she picked it up and started to play again, trying to score another touchdown so that would put her ahead of Thom. "Whoever that is, he sounds weird. Jon Bones Jones? Who calls themselves that?" Shiloh shook her head, looking left and right till she found the cigarette again. She reached out one hand again, eyes shifting from it to the screen. "Zach, just let me have it for two seconds. The 'wolf said, an innocent smile on her lips.
Thom "You ain't ever watched UFC?" Thom asked her, surprised that they'd been living in the mansion together for that long and she hadn't come upon him watching it some nights. "He's only the youngest champion in UFC history, he can call himself whatever the hell he wants." Thom's team gained possession of the ball while Shiloh was distracted, though he was started to lose interest in the game. His mama always told him he had a short attention span. He looked over at Shiloh attempting to steal Zach's cigarette with a raised eyebrow. "Better give the girl what she wants."
Zachary “I thought men didn’t do that shit anymore, huh? What happened to that all of a sudden?” The wolf took one last, long drag off his cigarette before growling out an ‘alright, alright’ and relinquishing it to the younger Delta though he wasn’t happy about it. First the pork rinds, then his smokes. Again resting his arm around Shiloh, Zach started to pinch teasingly at her side, just above her hip if he could manage. “Pain in my ass, you.”
Shiloh "I've heard 'bout it, but that doesn't mean I watch it. Reckon it'd be pretty funny to see you and 'im fight together just for the sake of seein' how fast he can drop you on your ass. You'd probably put up a good fight though." Shiloh hit pause on the controller, setting it to the side as she took cigarette. The moment she felt the pinching to her side, she let out a squeak of sorts and twisted out of the way from his hand. "Best pain in your ass, thank you very much." Shiloh glared at Zach's hand before taking the cigarette she had now and standing up. Easily, she took a drag from it herself and politely handed it back to Zach. "When you grow up where I did, everyone tends to smoke every once in a while. Never said I had a problem with it. I'm gettin' somethin' to drink from the kitchen. Holler if ya want anythin'." Shiloh said as she walked around the couch and to the kitchen so she could get back to the couch without taking too long.
Thom shook his head at the image Shiloh painted of his favorite UFC fighter knocking him on his ass in the ring. "S'why I said I wanted him to train me, not fight me," he pointed out, setting the controller down when she hit pause. He couldn't help but chuckle when she took a drag from Zach's cigarette, watching for his beta's reaction. "You're supposed to be the innocent one!" he hollered after her, picking up the bag of snacks from his side and tossing them at Zach.
Zachary “Probably? Shit, Thom, you /better/ put up a good fight. Been ridin’ this boy’s ass so long you’d think I grew outta his back. Be all for nothin’ if he couldn’t at least put in a good round or six.” Zach’s eyes walked up Shiloh’s standing form to meet her own, head tilting slightly though he showed no outward reaction to her taking a drag, herself. He’d started young, after all. Perking a brow before he took it back, he looked over at Thommy first before adopting a purposely aloof air and looking away from her wihle she took her leave, as if she bored him. “Oh, puh-lease. Thom, what you think, she lookin’ for a parade or somethin’?” He spoke loud enough for her to hear their conversation, purposely so, as he caught the pork rinds and wasted no time in tearing into a couple.
Shiloh rolled her eyes at both of the men as she walked to the fridge and got the drink she wanted. Taking up the water bottle, she closed the fridge and walked back to the couch, taking a sip from it. "I might be nice and willin' to do just 'bout anythin' for anyone but that doesn't mean I'm innocent." Shiloh said, bopping the water bottle on the top of Thom's head as she sat back down on the couch. "You're mean." She said in mock sadness to Zach, turning away from him to look at Thommy instead.
Thom "I could go a few rounds with him, I think," Thom bragged, though his hand to hand training was probably nothing compared to a UFC champion. Zach's bootcamp had gotten him in tip-top shape, and the two of them did extra one on one training when they found the time, so if Thommy was going to fight someone, now would be the time. "Ow," he said with a pout, rubbing his head where she had hit him with the bottle. "So what about you, Shi? What's the one thing you'd do before you die?"
Shiloh leaned back against the couch, thinking about the question. There were plenty of things that she wanted to do but what would she want to do before she died? "I don't know..." She said quietly, playing with her water bottle. She knew. "I'd find my ma. Tell her I'm sorry I ran away, that I did what I could to make her happy, and that I'm okay. Pretty sure she thinks I'm dead or somethin'." Shiloh took a sip from her water bottle, capping it before she moved to curl back into Zach's side. "And what about you? Thom and I have said what we'd do."
Thom looked down at the controller in his lap, feeling a little awkward that his own answer to the question was silly compared to Shiloh's heartfelt one. "That's a real nice one, Shi," he admitted, then raised an eyebrow in Zach's direction. "Yeah, c'mon Clement. Spill."
Zachary "Me?" Zach almost trailed off, shaking his head and looking to the screen though there was nothing to watch. He brushed some crumbs from his shirt and lap, running his hand over his beard to make sure it was pork rind-free as well. Thumbing at his nose afterwards, he contemplated telling the truth about wanting to perhaps start a family when the world got a little quieter, but Zach sniffed and tried to act nonchalant while answering lowly. "Somethin' normal, for once. Go campin' with my brother, maybe."
Shiloh shrugged her shoulder that wasn't blocked by Zach's side. "One of the few things I'll do some day." She said simply to Thom, waving a hand in the air dismissively as she looked at Zach. The blonde raised an eyebrow at Zach, a smile on her lips. "That'd be fun." Shiloh ran her fingers through her hair as she got up again. "I've gotta go finish laundry if I want anythin' to wear tomorrow." Leaning down, she gave Zach's cheek a kiss before nuzzling it. Moving over to Thom, she did the same. "You two don't have too much fun now." The Delta headed off, happier than she had been before after getting to spend time with Zach and Thom.
"The real reason women will never be the ones to propose. As soon as she gets on her knees, he will start unzipping his pants--" You're a dick, Zach.
"Look at me, I'm gorgeous-- look at you, not so much," Don't be so conceited, Zach.
