close your lips, it's a secret - shiloh&zoe
"Aw, c’mon! You can’t go baiting me like that, blondie!" Zoe howled in fake frustration. "Here I am, putting in my own effort, and I don’t even get to know what else you’re planning? Such a shame." Shaking her head and laughing, she brushed her own loose curls out of her face. Just spending some time talking to and laughing with Shiloh was nice, really. It was rare that they spent any time together, especially on their own. Both of them were more likely to hang out with Flynn, if for different reasons. "Man, I miss running," she mumbled without even noticing, remembering how Flynn and her often went out to just take off running. Not while they were on lockdown, though. Everything had been put on halt for now. If she didn’t know any better, she would’ve vaulted out a window sometime at night long ago.
Zoe thought about it for a moment, then replied with a huge smirk, “We both run, throwing the camera back and forth between another. If we’re incredibly lucky, maybe one of us gets away with it.” Chuckling at the thought of one of them punching some human’s lights out, she wondered if there was any place they could actually safely go, without having to worry about one of them fucking up. “You think bowling’s gonna be any better? We got some really sore losers in this pack. Wouldn’t want anybody to have to cook for the lot of us either. Whoever’s buying the ingredients is gonna end up broke as fuck.” Then, with a sigh, she added, “Not much we can do at the moment anyways. Got way too much energy to be sitting around the house pretty much day and night.”
Letting her gaze sweep around the room, her eyes landed on the pillows at the head of her bed. Maybe those could be put to use. Sliding and stretching backwards, she inched towards one, abruptly grabbing it and pulling it forwards, aiming to hit the blonde square in the back with it as she giggled like a little girl. Nothing better than a good old pillow fight.
"I can't reveal all my secrets, not now that I know I can keep it a secret from more people!" Shiloh laughed, feeling the ease of just messing around with someone. It was certainly different to spend more time with Zoe. Shiloh thought of the girl as family, same with everyone in the pack, but she tended to see little of some in the pack and more of others. The blonde knew she could have fun with Zoe though. The other's mumble caught Shiloh by surprise for a moment, a smile quirking on her lips. "Runnin' is somethin' you'll always miss even if it's only been a day since you've last ran or months since you have. Ain't nothin' like it really. I wish everythin' wasn't as bad as it is, I'd go runnin' with ya." Her wolf loved the idea of going out and running, to just have the freedom without constraints of the full moon. She liked being able to just adventure out with one of the others in the pack.
"Reckon Kinsey would have our heads no matter how fast we ran. If one of us managed to get away, she'd wait for the moment to get whoever and the camera." Shiloh ran her fingers through her hair, pulling it all over one shoulder as she looked down at her lap. It was certainly be funny, but Shiloh felt like all those fun times were so far into the future. "We do have some sore losers. Reckon a few people would just end up pretty pissy rather than havin' fun. Don't think we all need to worry about that stuff, not if it's for the sake of just havin' fun." Leaning over a bit, Shiloh set her notebook to the side for the moment since she didn't need it anymore.
She hadn't expected to end up being hit by a pillow next. That was certainly the last thing she expected, leaving Shiloh gaping at Zoe as if she were trying to believe if the other 'wolf had really done that. "Oh, it's on." Shiloh grabbed one of the other pillows, aiming it at Zoe before getting ready to jump out of the way.
