RP Chat issues

No, it's not you or a faulty device. Chatwing is currently down, which I can only assume as a maintenance break.

Both the App and the desktop are having issues. Where it does not seem to load or it pops up with a message saying network failure.

There is not much we can do, it's out of our hands until Chatwing fixes the problems.

They often update without warning, so no surprise it's occurred so suddenly.

I will keep you guys posted.

Not a normal post ((OOC))

I don’t normally go out of character especially on this blog. But I have sat back long enough and will no longer stand for it. So before I do continue on, I want to apologize to those that follow this blog for character only. And know this is the ONLY time I will be speaking out of character.

As you all know I play Leonardo on the Chatwing Chat (and of course this blog). Now, I play this character for two reasons. One: I adore this character and have many similarities that I like to play on and add into that character. TWO: I do it for fun. I have a full time job and family I adore but I need time to do something I really enjoy which is something that has been a part of my life for MANY years. TMNT and roleplay.

I can’t always be on but when I am I enjoy my time roleplaying my character and interacting with others. Cannon or OC.

So when someone comes onto the chat to bash the fun, that not only myself, but others that are there to have fun.

I will no longer stay quiet.

Also, I know who you are and I have to say...I’m hurt, hurt on levels you can’t imagine. I’m not going to name names...cause that would make me no better, but I think you should know that I do not approve and I am hurt for these actions you have taken just because things didn’t go your way. Because someone has decided to take the mature route and TRY to make things work.

You decided to leave, that is on you and no one else. All you have done is shown your true colors. And I personally don’t like what I have seen. I’m very disappointed.

I have spoken out my personal distaste for characters before...but never have I ONCE brought it onto actual chat, not even in the character(s) that I play, because it is a game and there is no reason for me to get personal on chat with other characters EVEN and ESPECIALLY if I don’t care for the muns. I stay IN character, anything beyond that I keep it out and off the chat!

It is a game! It is meant to be fun. I am not roleplaying to entertain anyone. I wouldn’t even care if NO ONE ever saw my works. I have been a part of a close roleplay for 11 years now and NO ONE but me and the two others I roleplay with know about it. 11 years of work and I did it all because I enjoy it and continue to enjoy it. This is no different.

I enjoy the interactions I have on chat, with Cannon and OC alike. And yes, I don’t approve of some at times but that doesn’t mean I go attack and make them feel like crap for it! That behavior is just childish.

I want @raph-the-muscle to know how much I appreciate all that he has done for me on chat, to give me the chance he did to become the Leonardo on the blog. Raph you have been nothing but great and you don’t deserve what has been going on with your baby (chat) don’t let these bullies discourage you.

Also to @donatellotmnt, I know we have had our troubles, but I do miss you on chat, very much...and I am looking forward to you coming back. Despite what others may do or think, there are those that want you there. I’ll do my best to be Leonardo, your big brother. I hope that you can trust that.

@mikey-angelo-hamato can’t forget you baby brother. Always fun to roleplay along with you and find what will happen next. You bring a smile to my face, even when I’m yelling at you.

@karai-will-cut-you Being your Leonardo has been more than I had hoped for. I enjoy our interactions and I know you have a busy life and our time line sucks but when you are on and we can get a scene up. It is awesome!

To the rest of you on the chat, there are some I haven’t gotten to know in character yet but I’m looking forward to seeing how that goes. And those I have, your all great in your own ways. I have had some challenges but that is what roleplay is about, why I enjoy it as much as I do. Very few know about the mun behind the turtle mask and I like it that way. 

To all the haters, go somewhere else. We don’t need your negativity here. We’re having fun. Leave us be. Make your own chat, no one is stopping you.

And last, to all my followers. Again, I want to apologize for going OOC here, but I needed to get this down and off my chest. This is the only time I will go OOC on this blog, unless it needs to be done again. Hopefully never again. Thank you all for following me and I hope that you all do enjoy my blog for what it is and what it stands for. I will continue to portray the character Leonardo the best I can, won’t be perfect but I do my best. Those that don’t like it, don’t have to follow. That’s the beauty of it.

Donnie has spent the last few weeks or so doing something awesome for April and me! He remodeled two of spare rooms in the lair just for her and I. So I tried to recreate what he did on Sims 4.
