F1 WDC Theories Based on the Australian V8 Supercars (hear me out okay)
Theory 1: Verstappen will win
In the V8 Supercars championship, Red Bull won the Constructor's Championship, and Chaz Mostert from the team WAU, which Zak Brown part owns, won the Driver's Championship.
In F1, McLaren (Zak Brown's team) won the Constructor's Championship, meaning Verstappen, the Red Bull driver, will win the WDC??
Theory 2: McLaren driver will win
Last week, in the last two races of the season, Ryan Wood, Mostert's teammate, helped Mostert to secure the Driver's Championship over Red Bull driver Broc Feeney.
In the penultimate race, Wood let Mostert ovetake him to finish higher, helping him gain more points for the championship. In the last race, Wood collided with Feeney, causing the Red Bull driver to lose positions (not saying this was on purpose, and Feeney also had technical issues, but let's just ignore that for the sake of this post🙏).
Tl;dr, the driver from Zak Brown's Supercars team was able to beat the Red Bull driver with the help of his teammate, and win the Driver's Championship. Following this, Papaya Rules will come into play, with a McLaren driving finishing on top and winning the WDC.
would you guys hate me if i wrote supercars fanfic.
coming into this weekend as a Chaz Mostert and Oscar Piastri fan… I’m NERVOUS
Supercars finals in Adelaide, and the penultimate F1 race Qatar (where Oscar desperately needs to outscore Lando) ??? NOT GOOD
feeling so normal rn 😁 (I have been seriously concerning myself with the fact that chaz mostert may not win the supercars championship)
