As they talk, she’s vague about her life, making him worry she’s a serial killer. Author’s choice whether Kate reveals she’s a cop or let’s him believe she’s a serial killer.
Castle dies in Time of our Lives, Beckett travels to the underworld to bring him back (inspired by Greek myth)
A flying saucer lands in Central Park.
Castle and Beckett team up with FBI Agents Mulder and Scully to solve a case.
CFPromoter’s Castle Halloween Bash 2015 Challenge
Greetings!
This “contest” isn’t a competition against others, merely a spooky fun way for the Castle fandom and its talented fanfiction writers to generation some Halloween spirit.
Participating stories should be posted on Fanfiction.net. Stories will be included in the “favorites” list on the CFPromoter FFN account. Links will also be tweeted through our twitter account and blogged/reblogged on tumblr.
Rules: Nothing major, except that the submitted story must be Halloween-themed and should be at least 1000 words in length. The story doesn’t even have to take place on Halloween or in October, it just needs to involve “Halloween” elements; think of it like telling ghost stories around the campfire, except Castle-themed. You can write a one shot, or a multi-chapter story, whichever takes your fancy. Write as many as you want, at any rating, any genre. If you need help coming up with an idea, we’ve also taken the time to generate a small list of prompts (link).
Submissions will be accepted starting October 5, 2015 and ending at midnight on October 31, 2015. You can start writing at anytime, but only stories posted between the 5th and 31st of October will be accepted.
Stories are to be posted on your own FFN account, but should have “Castle Halloween Bash 2015 Entry” somewhere in the summary, so that readers can know that the story is a participant. Also, if you post a link to the story on Twitter, make sure you tag @CFPromoter in your post, so that we can easily retweet it. We’ll be using the hashtag “CastleHalloweenBash” on Twitter when we tweet. Also on tumblr, please use the tag “CastleHalloweenBash” for ease of reblogging.
Every participant will receive an individualized digital badge of participation at the end of the challenge. Any participant that breaks 10,000 words with their story will also receive an additional digital badge. If you break 15,000 words, you’ll receive a link to a wallpaper patterned after the official banner for Castle Halloween Bash 2015.
The main point is to have fun, and spread the spooky and terrifyingly fun spirit that is Halloween.
Also, this year I’ve decided to include some actual prizes. You must be willing to provide a shipping address to receive a prize if you win.
In the interest of fairness, winners will be selected via a raffle. Each participant will be entered in the raffle for each story they submit. Additional raffle tickets will be rewarded based on total word count.
For example, if a story breaks 5000 words, that story/author will have 2 tickets in the raffle. If that story then breaks 10,000 words, then that story/author will have 3 tickets in the raffle, and so on.
