It wasn't often that Finley showed up at her older sister's house unannounced- hell, or at all. But she'd been increasingly concerned about Maddie recently, and it didn't seem like Jordana was all that interested in parenting the second of her set of twins. "Congratulations on turning into Kathy. I really had Noelle down for that, but I guess you won that one," She spoke up by way of a greeting, tossing her purse onto the countertop and staring at her older sister with disappointment. "You do remember you had two children, right? I'm sure the labor was too painful to forget," Her voice was dripping with sarcasm, hand on her hips. Finley often shrank back when it came to her older siblings and their callous disregard for anyones feelings, but when it came to standing up for other people, she regained her nerve. @chcrrybcmbs

while he wasn't a fan of the glitz and glamour of the city of angels, bentley made it his mission to seek out little slices of what he was used to as much as he could. and while the viper room certainly was a notorious celebrity hotspot, it wasn't as pretentious as the others and a little bit more messy, just how he liked it. he was standing at the bar with a few friends when he spotted a pair of blue eyes staring back at him and he couldn't help the flirty grin he shot in her direction. always a sucker for a pretty little thing. he let a few minutes go by as he finished off his drink before slowly making his way over to where she was standing, leaning up against the bar as he raised a finger to wave the bartender over. "bourbon on the rocks..." he said, looking over at her with a grin before looking back at the bartender. "and another one of whatever she's sippin' on." he said, sliding his card across the bar before turning his full attention back to her. "you know, i come here a lot. and i don't reckon i'd forget seeing a face like yours around here."

with her new security team implemented all thanks to the aid of kathy and jordana kennedy, she finally felt safe enough to be in her house and not at her condo in l.a, but still not comfortable enough to spend the night alone, which was something she didn't want to admit out loud. hence why, she had the fabulous idea of inviting austen over for a sleepover. it had been far too long since they had a night of mother/daughter bonding and after everything that had happened, her heart needed it desperately. "we used to do this all the time when you were little." persephone said, offering a soft smile to austen as she pressed the eye patches against her skin, remembering those tough early days of when the twins moved in and how she was always able to bribe austen with a spa night. "i did something bad, you know. i got ice cream that isn't dairy free. i figured we both deserved a little treat tonight."

masters of deception and curators of evil, it had been far too long since the two she-devils had a meeting of the minds to conspire about whatever shenanigans that they had found themselves in and lately, bianca truly felt as though she had been doing a magnificent job. taking a sip from her glass of wine as eyes scanned the menu she let out a heavy sigh. "it's such a shame....what happened at the met between johnny and ophelia. i wonder who could've leaked such a terrible, terrible scandal." she said, lips curling into a mischievous grin as eyes flickered upwards towards dani.

she never thought that her father's stinky, gross horse stables would come of such use to her. she spent her whole life avoiding the place and now? more often than not, she was frequenting it, simply to take a few pictures and to get the hell out of there. country boys were simple, vinny was simple, and she knew just what she had to do to get him wrapped around her finger. when he mentioned that his team needed a location for an upcoming photoshoot of his, she was quick to offer her father's property to the country crooner, sitting supportively on the sidelines as she watched the photographer direct him. letting out a heavy sigh, she stood up from her seat, snatching the camera from the man. "i'm the highest paid super model in the world, i think i know a thing or two more about posing than you do." she said with a raise of her brow, turning to face vinny as she tilted her head to the side. "well, for starters? far too many layers. shirt? off." she said, grin spreading across her lips.

perfectly manicured fingers are clutching the handle of her purse for dear life, holding it close against her chest as she cautiously and slowly walked down the sidewalk, looking back and forth in between each and every time she took a step. for someone who had spent her entire life living under royal protocol, with heightened security and all the luxuries she could desire handed straight to her, this was weird, being so out in public with no one but tennessee by her side. and more so, nobody around them cared that a literal princess was in her midst and she didn't know what was giving her more anxiety - the crowds on the street or their lack of acknowledgement of her. "are we sure?" adelaide said breathlessly, stopping in her tracks. "i mean, i could call up every designer that's on this street and have them present the collections to us...privately...in the comfort of my home instead of...out here on the street with the...regulars."

the more things changed, the more they stayed the same. it was a sentiment that seemed to ring true year after year for her as she reflected on her life. this time last year? she was conflicted and alone and somehow, a whole three hundred and sixty five days later, she was exactly the same. she truly didn't think anything could be worse than last year's met gala and as disastrous as everything that went down between her and travis that night was, at least she felt wanted. but now? now she had nothing, she felt nothing, and was doing a hell of a good job at keeping herself that way, numbing all of the feelings she possibly could for as long as she could. it hurt too much, whether it was good or bad, it hurt like hell and she didn't want to feel any of it anymore. it was another night on another barstool, drowning her sorrows after a long day on set like she always did when a whiff of that familiar cologne hits her nostrils and she doesn't dare turn her head. to face him. because she's exhausted, and she doesn't have any fight left in her. "what's that old keith whitley song?" she said, tone low and a slight slur to her voice as she traced the rim of her glass. "you say it best when you say nothing at all?" she said, gaze wandering around the bar. "perhaps do a little bit of that tonight." she said before throwing the rest of her drink back, nodding her head towards the bartender for a refill.

AVETT & CAIDEN.

While her character got on her- and everyone's- nerves, Avett had to admit, she loved playing dress up. Whenever she read in the script that there was a school dance or wedding, she would sneak into wardrobe and bribe the women working to let her help choose Jenny Humphrey's gowns. After returning from the Met gala, filming ramped back up, leaving Avett with very little free time between Gossip Girl and finally finishing up her album. The only time she saw Caiden was for a split second on the Met carpet, and then now, on set. "That's the nicest I've seen you dressed in, I think, ever," She teased, tiptoing across the fake ballroom set to stand beside him. They were just background characters for the current scene, so it didn't quite matter where she stood and swayed. @chcrrybcmbs
