Lets just be honest ok. I watched it only for Seb and all the buzz about his scenes.
The sex scenes are amazing but I totally hated his character. A bad (asshole) guy again? For real? He needs to let go that kind of roles, please!
Shailene character is relatable in a couple things (at least for me) but I can't stand how many bad decisions she took and waited for all of them to suddenly burst when she knew she was messing with everyone and then when she got the news.
Made me feel more anxious that she didn't know who was going to be the dad OUT OF 4 🤦🏻♀️and never told the other three that she was abused . Like... why???? I feel like the director & writer romanticized a lot the idea that having a baby while having a major breakdown will fix everything in life, that will put everything in place but that's not how it works, not for a lot of people.
And I thought Jamie was actually going to be the good guy in this but had the charisma of a dead fish, he was plain in so many aspects and the ending with him was just sad and kinda mean.
It have great ideas, raw scenes, great cinematography but have sooo many gaps to the point of feeling incomplete, the weird jumps from present to past, cheesy lines, and for sure, the cheap philosophy through all.
