Happy FOUND IT Friday!!! So this is new and I can't promise every Friday will feature finds but for this week it does!

Today I visited the Marin Humane Society Thrift Store in San Anselmo. This place is too conveniently located to mi casa. It is at the end of my street. I love this place because it is the size of a walk in closet and it reminds me of my mom's closet. (Sorry mom - she is going to kill me for that comment). My mom's closet was always packed with stuff and I loved going in there because you could always come out with something fun. Normally a forgotten stocking stuffer she bought and lost before Christmas or a gypsy looking scarf she wore in the early 70s. Regardless, it was a free treasure trove of wonder!

So this tiny little shop has all sorts of things and they run yellow tag sales. 50% off items sporting a cheery yellow tag! Today I went in to look for some Christmas tree supplies. We moved in August and lugging trees, lights, etc. seemed silly (at the time). So I am attempting to get into the spirit on the very cheap!

Tomorrow we will be getting our very first real pine Christmas tree - a blog post will be coming regarding that adventure. OK back to the finds, so I found a tree stand ($4) and a mess of lights ($2.50). Why have I been buying new lights every year? Also in the holiday spirit, I found a couple White Elephant items but I can't post those. They are top secret!

And I should have been done "finding" but then there were these sweet chalice like cups that I had seen a few weeks ago but passed up. Not today! They were 50% and all mine for $0.75 each. Oh, and one replacement lunch bag ($1.75)for VanIke.

And so those are my finds for this Friday!
