*BOOM* Fukien Fried Rice. Firm tofu 1 block, 2 cups cooked brown rice, 1 med carrot, 3 old spring onions, half a can drained corn, big splog each of tamari, worcestershire sauce, coconut amino sauce (optional), sweet chilli sauce and fish sauce (omit for veg/vegan), dash of five spice, 1 tablsp crushed garlic and massel fake chicken stock, 2 tbsps, in the rice water. Fry all the veg and tofu and sauces and spices in a pan with a good slug of oil till sticky. Mix in cooked rice. Top with more rescued spring onion and dry fried sesame seeds (I collect weird shit for my pantry bit by bit and learn how to use things with google and the Larouse Gastronomie). Cost about $7 enough for 4.
