antonin & narcissa ℘ checking and double checking

Hair fixed? Check. House clean? Double check. No missing appendages or new tattoos? Check.
Antonin Dolohov’s daily existence was so utterly bizarre that no one who hadn’t experienced his strange predicament could understand. At the request of his mother, he sent an owl to one Narcissa Black; a woman he had met once or twice at social gatherings, to invite her to his residence for Pureblood connections. His mother was not right, but he knew it meant a lot to her that he make connections, and thus he sent the owl early that morning. She was due any moment. Blue eyes were zoning out on a fixed spot on the wall as he waited, trying his best to stay focused.
Get yourself together, Dolohov.
A knock on the door had him tensing but Antonin rose, peeking out a small crack in the frame.
“Evening,” he began. “Come on in. Thanks for comin’. Mum sends her regards.” He stepped aside and allowed Narcissa through, a pleasant smile on his lips.
