Annoying vegan?

I get almost glared at when I go to a kiosk and, before buying anything, start reading the label...

"They're oat cookies", the shop attendant says as if there was nothing else I'd like to check.

"Oh, sure enough... but do they have any eggs on them? do they have any milk?" And I keep reading until I can check they're vegan or not.

By that point, the girl never wants to see me again.
